Its good to see documentary that provides both perspectives of the conflict. Praying Somalia's poverty issue is fixed, so they don't need to steal from others and risk their lives.
Somalians in my country are not looked on as being good hard working people nor are they seen as honest. You hear them speak loudly how they’re going to get one over our government by going to welfare to get a car or more money. They speak so freely around people on getting a big house etc and how they don’t have to work to get paid. When they leave robbing on the sea to move to another country they then start robbing our government system
Don't support a channel ther steals content and content farms for engagement.
They’ll never be blessed while “solving” their problems with evil.
Waiting for someone to tell them to just go to the EU and ask for asylum instead.
This is a really complex issue for me. On one hand, the ships shouldn't have to fear pirates, but on the other hand pirates (other nations) shouldn't have pillaged Africa's resources for generations. If they would've left Africa alone, these issues wouldn't exist and the people of Africa could've thrived instead of suffering
In this piece of fiction, the reason that Africa doesn't have flying cars is that they were invaded and pillaged by other nations. Only, Africa is where all humanity began, so it's had the longest amount of time to use all those resources to thrive technologically and did not. It wasted so much time, in fact, that places with fewer resources developed so much further ahead of them that they could gather large armies to come pillage it. This is like saying "if only you didn't kick that rock, it would have developed into a sentient rock being." No. Africa is not poor because it doesn't have resources. Africa is not poor because it was pillaged. Africa is poor because not every culture in Africa is equal. The rich parts of Africa have cultures that value innovation, science, and industry. The poor parts do not. Just like the rest of the world.

What destroyed North Africa and the middle East is isIam. MusIims pillaged and coIonised entire regions. Don't blame Europeans for this. MusIims are the biggest coIonisers to date, and they're still very much active.

They wouldnt have to get involved if local pirates werent stealing goods and kidnapping people from their countries and holding them ransom.
It would be irresponsible if they did nothing and continued to let their people transporting goods be shot and kidnapped. Not hard to understand.
