That’s about a 58 on my Niche scale. I have a 2nd marker on the calibration ring (rhinestone) which aligns with the Zero (sic) when the original pointer is on fifty. Gives me an easy 50-100 scale pointer.
0:58 anti-clockwise I guess. But isn‘t that a very fine grind for a french press brew? I mean, most of the time a very much coarser grind is recommended by most people. I haven‘t done a lot of french press by myself though.
You're correct! And we had lots of success at this setting but its just our recommendation, we encourage users to adjust to a setting that best suits them.

@@jerryadams54 No what they are demonstrating is the grinder can grind coarser than 50...just not indicated by the scale. So if you were at 16 for an espresso you can turn the bean cup anti clockwise beyond the 50 to, say, the calibration mark or further. I know some users that say the lid Allen key headed bolt is their sweet spot for french press 😊

6 minutes for French press? Most videos recommend 4 minutes.
