You covered a lot here quickly and explained it well. Not too technical for new people, which should help them out.
Your collection seems to be growing faster than a rabbit's cage! Lol...
    Suggestions for segment II-
    RTR vs kit.
    Rtr tires vs aftermarket
    Motor turn exonerations
    Scale size
    Radio channels
    Cell count and mah
    Merry Christmas!

This video was 30 minutes and I cut it down to 12 minutes!! :) Big edit but that's the hard part with youtube. If folks don't watch an average of 40% of the video, it gets buried.

Thanks for awesome video on 101…..I m thinking to get one entry level crawler within the budget, shortlisted a few like RedCat Everest 10, RGT trample , RGT ex86100v2 , RGT 18000. With potential possibly I could upgrade the rear drive servo like Everest 10 to achieve 4WS….Can you recommend amongst the above choices within the budget? Or I should go a little stretch for Capra 4WS…your thoughts pls…tks

  • @1sickgsx

Selfish video idea! Like many, I took advantage of the crazy discount on the Ryft builders kit. As I'm learning more about the platform I'm nervous about the difs and locking vs building with hardened gears.
Thinking you could do a perfect video comparing and contrasting locking vs unlocking on the platform for both crawling/bouncing/hill climbing.

No. So torn about it since I have no money, no garage space and no places to play with this. And then upgrade paths are so limited.

Brushless motors have been around since 1962. :D
The only difference between older batteries and new ones is the new ones burn down your home. :D

I have been out of rc crawling for a few years.... just found out my ax10 is discontinued.... recently bought a trx4 to hold me over till my next crawler.
I used "over drive" and a semi droop suspension. Im thinking about semi droop again with a winch down suspension🤔

Those wheels on the LCG rig are awesome. I see that oil slick color a lot in mountain biking but never seen any RC wheels with it. Where did you find them?

    • @RCReviewChannel

Yeah, that is a BoomRacing oil slick plate on a very wide wheel.

Still think someone needs to do an on road/drift car comparison of the on road vehicles seems like there on the back burner compared to the crawling scene 🤔
    great video itself tho 🤘🤘

Limited scene here for that and not enough venues. Also filming it is so hard to make interesting.

Great video and very good info. What is a good brand of beadlocks for a Capra. I’m currently running flat iron tires.

    • @RCReviewChannel
      @RCReviewChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Thank you. For the Capra, since the portals are huge, it has to be a wheel with a very big cavity inside. Vanquish and Boomracing work for sure.
