First Week Of University 2020 | A Productive Week Of Learning | So it's the first official week but actually my fourth week of academic work. I'm a third-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Pretoria (Tuks) but also do a whoooooooole lot of other stuff. Check out the rest below...
It's good to be back in the normal varsity schedule, learning, being confused in lectures and spending time with friends. Campus was crazy busy this first week with lots of lines to get through the turnstiles and to see admin so hopefully it calms down a bit next week.
I've also got flu now so gonna try get some more sleep this week - might delay the next few videos a bit, we'll see. Gotta make another degree update video though cause have made some decisions regarding my academics in the last week that I really want to share with you guys.

I am really passionate about learning, technology, photography, cinematography, reading, hiking, always improving and am studying Computer Engineering at The University of Pretoria (Tuks). I really dig how honest you are with how engineering is and your challenges 🔥🔥. Moving to 5 years is a good move because you can focus on your modules better and actually understand and kill the modules with better marks ✅.

I'm a Computer Science(not Engineering though) student in Germany and it's quite interesting to watch your videos and notice the similarities to stuff I also have to learn and just to student life in general, cheers

I have a gazillion lecturers who aren't articulate and just shitty. Seems like a widespread issue across all faculties. Tukkies must fix up. Also, I'll be taking 4 years to complete a 3-year degree too. You once said (in some earlier video) something along the lines of enjoying as much varsity life as possible. The silver lining is that you and I now have more time to make the most out of our college journey.

Saw a video earlier on mining bitcoin, what site do you use? And is it legit, tried a number of them but they require my own bitcoin first. Presumably I'm looking for a site where I can mine Doge Coin though.

I don't use anything, you can't make any money if you don't own a farm of ASICs - Dogecoin included.

Yo man 4 years or 5 years isn't an issue in the long run. As you get older that 1 year means less and less. We all just looking for our degree at the end of the day. Again nice stuff with the videos 🙏

I know the extra year sucks, but my brother (Electronic Engineering at UP) also extended his studies with another year and it did him wonders. Yes, he went on to do his post-grad in Biomedical Engineering, but that extra year made him focused more on his big project and actually get it done with one try.

3300 per course is not bad at all. I'm studying at Wits and my courses in 3rd year of Accounting cost 17k each
