  • My last few weeks as a final year Computer Engineering student at the University of Pretoria (Tuks). I also do a whoooooooole lot of other stuff. Check out the rest below...
    Insta: / mitch7w
    Still waiting for some of my results to officially confirm that I am unemployed and no longer a student but it feels amazing to have completed everything required to get that degree. I am exhausted and physically and mentally drained, but it was worth it. Will make a whole video in future talking about the degree and if it was worth it or not!

    You can message me at / mitch7w but I only check this once a week for my own sanity - the Insta rabbithole is real.
    Thank you for taking the time to watch my video - attention is valuable so it means a lot. Please subscribe for more brief glances into my life. :)
    My name is Mitch Williams and I'm a twenty-three year-old living in South Africa. I am really passionate about learning, technology, space, reading, hiking, always improving and am studying Computer Engineering at The University of Pretoria (Tuks). These videos are a way of remembering my life and to possibly help out some other future varsity students get a sense of what they're in for.

    I'm a Tuks student, not in your field but I love what you've done here. You documentd your entire Varsity experience and it's so beautiful to watch. All your friends the work and the lifestyle.
    As a Tuks student it feels so warm to see you strolling through campus and the streets in your videos.
    I hope you do great things in life man. Need you to start the next Tesla or something. You're so inspiring

    Congrats on your outstanding presentation Mitch! Profs love it when students can "think on the fly" should something go awry during a demonstration, you were right on the mark there. Are you going to take a little break before scheduling job interviews?

    Can you give me some advice. Is the computer engineering course more focused on software programming or the computer hardware side. Also, what are the job opportunities with this degree and do you think there is demand for it.

    • @mitch7w
      @mitch7w  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dual focus on hardware and software. Comp. science is software only. Watch my comparison video for more. th-cam.com/video/Uz6iB9sMlDk/w-d-xo.html And there's lots of demand and job opportunities as an engineer ;) Just google for them

  • @CJ-xg6pf
    @CJ-xg6pf ปีที่แล้ว

    Your degree seems complex, there's alot of hardware stuff and I hate hardware🤣🤣

    • @mitch7w
      @mitch7w  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep. Hence why I did a mostly software-based Project

    • @CJ-xg6pf
      @CJ-xg6pf ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mitch7w you planning on becoming a software engineer?
