Chevy Traverse won't Start & "Traction control off" in message window this could be your problem!

- Having a vehicle that won’t start can be a nightmare and cost you time and money. IF you own a Chevy Traverse and it will not start and you see Traction control off in massage window this could be your problem and Easy fix!

This was NOT the issue I had earlier today, but it sure helped me figure it out anyway!
In my case, a prior owner or mechanic stuck a 10A fuse in a test port, shorting it out. Yanking out tthe fuse and putting it back in an actual spare slot fixed every issue I was having. If it hadn't been for this vedoe, I would never have even suspected a fuse could be a potential cause. :)

Wow your the greatest. My keys were stuck in my traverse and I watched your video and boom I was able to get my keys out. But my issues don’t stop there my traverse is dead no power? Well I’m watching this video about the blown emc fuse and to check it if it’s blown. Thank you for your help
Your welcome check your battery this will cause these problems; also alternatetor could be bad which will drain your battery.

I had the same problem. The fuel control module had a short and a blown capacitor. salt and water got in and shorted it out.

So I have the same message on my screen, 2017 Traverse, however mine will start, sometimes it won’t. It also has a rough idle and at times act like it’s going to stall out while motor is running

I have 2014 traverse and my traction control came on and says reducing power. So I have pull off the road. This has happen several times. And I would turn motor off then it would always start back up.. Now it won't start @ hall any suggestions. Please

This sh*t always be happening to my girls traverse! Gonna check it out and see what I find. Appreciate the video. Hopefully it works for me too cuz this things been such a pain lol.

Sounds like you may have a battery issue. Check your battery which is located inside of your vehicle. Please like subscribe and share
Some time This problem come from the transmission solenoid need to change or from transmission cable is not clear connected

Hello thanks for the video, I had the same issue with my car. It sa Traction control off, Engine power low and service stabilitrack. Does this have anything to do with O2 sensors? Cos that's what the technician says. I just worried but anyone with info on how best to fix this...pls reply me...thanks
Sometimes o2 problems can cause problem also.
I have a 2012 Chevy Traverse LS and my issue is that my brakes feel as if they are tightened and I have to pull to the side and wait for hrs for the brakes to loosen up. The Traction Control off, Service Traction off and Service Stabilitrak lights flash on the dashboard.
Mines said that yesterday and was smoking bad this morning when I tried to start it it act d if it wanted to start but wouldn’t
Mine shut off wont start. It did say traction control off check engine light came on. When i crank the key it just makes a crank noise. Could it be that? Mine traverse is a 2017

ECM issue.. internal fault! ecm fuse keep burn-out once starting and can't continue running! only cranking.
What can it be if my whole instrument Cluster AND gauges do not work? Car still turns on, but nothing shows up on the dash at all while driving.

09 Chevy Traverse Lt, If I turn my key over, same cranking issues. But I do hear either a fuel pump hum or the starter hum. You said you didn't hear anything. Would that make a difference in this diagnosis?

I got same issues suddenly my traverse 2012 won’t start I charge fuse removed it then put it back it worked the fuse wasn’t damaged my friend checked the car he said maybe it is a fuse box issue so now am getting new fuse box you think it will solve the problem or it is not fuse box issue?
My car was doing the same thing so I went out and tired to take the 15blue piece out but didn’t have the right part to take it out now it won’t start at all and my key get stuck in the ignition what could be the problem???
If key getting stuck most time means your suv battery is low.

Mine was the connector that holds the abs control module was broken so had to buy whole piece from dealer.

I have a 2012 enclave. Replaced battery 2 months ago, it died 4 days ago, replaced relays and starter still won't start. Soooo....$750 later I'll be trying this tomorrow as this is EXACTLY what my truck is doing and the only message displayed.
