Science_Biker I've dropped my FJR two times now. Nothing added to bike for protection. You think I would've installed something after the first drop.

My friends girlfriend has done the same to my fjr which costed her £350. The bike wasn't dropped though.

She shouldn't have a licence. The bike was in plain view. Next time it could be a child. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it is my opinion.
My wife is an excellent driver, and she also rides a motorcycle of her own. She just made a mistake and didn't check closely enough after coming around the pickup. She definitely won't make the same mistake again. Yes, better my motorcycle than a child, but there are no children that live here or near by us. Most women could not back their vehicle into their driveway everyday as she does.
If you would take away her license for this mistake, then there are thousands, if not millions that should have their licenses pulled also for much worse infractions.
My point exactly, sorry but I feel there are way too many people on the road that shouldn't be. Like I said it was my opinion, everyone has one.
She was backing up in her driveway when do you randomly see a kid in your driveway? Cause when I'm backing up in the familiarity of my own driveway, im not going to be looking around for a child.
It doesn't have to be a kid, it could have been him working on his bike. If you put something like this out on the net be prepared for what people think.
