As a father of a Star Wars baby, its super exciting. Our baby was due at the end of April and we just kept hoping that she'd be late like her brother was, but everyone was telling us that the 2nd baby tends to come early....obviously she listened to us and popped out on the 4th. It was amazing. She is amazing. Congrats to you both. Its an exciting time for sure!
A Star Wars girl! That's so cool. May she be bold and loyal like Leia, and strong and compassionate like Rey. For the droid name, something many don't know is that in the original Star Wars novel the droid names were spelled out phonetically: See-Threepio and Artoo-Deetoo. Keeping with that tradition a bit, you could name the droid Baby-Won and call her BB-1 for short.

Myself, I never forced Star Wars onto my daughter. When "The Force awakens" came out, I watched the OT and the PT with her to prepare her for the movie. She fell irrevobably and totally in love with Star Wars. Next year she will turn 18 and is working to become a Mandalorian Merc (a bit on the backburner right now due to final year at school). I am helping her and so much looking forward to troop with her.
