I didn't have the Use WSL2 option when installing. I just had the add shortcut to desktop checkbox. But I installed 4.30 so maybe that's why? I'll know if it works in a moment. Thanks for the video!
I came back to say it worked! Thank you so much. Been a Front End Dev for a long time and Im trying this new open-sass platform on a windows machine. It has to use WSL though and all of this was new to me. You're a rockstar.
For WSL2 you need "Virtual Machine Platform" (a subset of Hyper-V) and "Windows Subsystem for Linux" features, turned on in your Windows Program Features.
not familiar with the system requirements of Laravel. From their site, it looks like you have enough resources. You could try to move your project here: /home/username/src/ to see if that improves performance.
