I love that you showed your sketch process. It’s really helpful for a beginner like me. I started to follow the mushroom one and it came out good. ❤. Please keep doing that.
Sweet Nia, thank you for creating exquisite art with us! I learned SO MUCH from your tutorials 😊. You have this amazing ability to transfer your passion to us your followers! Your soft voice and your immense patience, is truly appreciated by all of us ❤ I just want to reach for my paint brushes and start painting as soon as see your new creations. When I hear your kind voice, I grab a pencil and follow along with great joy, I know I've got this 😊
You are my “go to” artist! I follow. Your preparation CAREFULLY. Drawing and shading in pencil first. Next I watch the video again, watching your color mixing. Then I make y first, not last, attempt at the painting. I do this over and over asI try to better my work. Thank. You for all your lessons. Paula
Thank you for your TH-cam tutorials. This is my second one and it is so relaxing and a great creative outlet for me. Yours are some of the easiest to follow along for me personally.
Thank you Nianiani , you painted the acorns beautifully, love the autumn colours , i have followed your tutorial and was pleased with the result , your tutorial was very easy to follow
Loved this study - did 2 at one time - one on cold pressed and one on hot pressed paper to see what I prefer. Mine came out better on the cold pressed.
Oh Nia these are gorgeous. I collect acorns out of my yard for decorations. You captured them the best I have ever seen. The Oak leaves look awesome too. I’m going to try this one. The way you paint is just mesmerizing. Everything looks so real. Just love to watch you paint. It brings joy to my heart when I see you have a new video. Would love to see you paint a squirrel to go along with their favorite nuts. The deer and squirrels love to eat acorns. Love & Hugs! 💛🧡🐿☀️🌻💕
Aw thats so cutee! Acorns are very uncommon where I live so I just tried to study the shapes from pinterest xD I'm so happy you enjoyed it! I've drawn squirrels before, but haven't tried painting them. Maybe I'll give it a go! :D:D
Nianiani Yay! Can’t wait til I see you paint a squirrel. They are such funny little critters. Hard to believe you don’t have them where you live. You painted them perfectly!!! Happy Friday!
This was so relaxing to watch. Loved seeing your creative process. The acorn caps are brilliant! I have wondered many times how I would approach that. Now to gather all the different acorns in my studio and play!
What a lovely fall painting. I really appreciated how you showed your process of moving from sketches to finished painting. Your color mixing tips were also very helpful. Thanks for sharing.
I found your channel when I got recommended the seascape painting and I recreated and it turned out really nice. You're an amazing teacher. You really helped me find my love of watercolours and then I started an art TH-cam channel. Thankyou Nia
I just recently found your channel. I absolutely adore your style and subject matter. I've always wanted to write a children's book and you would be my dream illustrator! Thank you for such fun tutorials, I cannot wait to try this one.
Thanks so much 😊 Glad you like the music too.. that's always a struggle because there isn't too many options from the audio library xD Hope you have fun painting this one :))
Wow! Those acorns look like you picked them and laid them on the paper. Watching you put down each layer and how real the acorns were looking was amazing. I don't think I could ever get acorns and leaves to look so great. I don't think I could find enough time to practice to get something to look 1/4 that good. 👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 Stars.
Hi Nia! Thank you so much for the tutorial. I loved it and learned a lot. It really was perfectly done. Loved your tips on cross contour lines, your shading and color contrasts were beautiful. I also loved the fuzzy look of cross patterns on the little caps. The leaf tips were great, about veins. You are so creative and talented. Beautifully done! Best wishes.
Hi Marlene! I'm so happy you get to see the vid and so thankful that you enjoyed it :D It's always a huge relief for me to hear back from the person who suggested the video xD yay! Hope you also enjoy the Skillshare classes :))
Great lesson. Mine turned out nice too. I had a problem with the leaves but it worked. I am waiting for better paints, I am curious about the difference because cheap paints are heavy in color. Thank you, I had a lot of fun with this job
cheap paints tend to have more fillers and they tend to be chalky. Doesn't mean tht you can't use them though.. I've had my fair share of using cheap paints, and they work just fine :))
@@Nianiani I like your lessons so much that I bought a Skill Share. I was most charmed by the jam and cookies, and the owl. Of course, acorns are my pride. I have a little problem with English but I'm trying to overcome it*. I am very pleased. If you think about the topics, can I suggest fruits, vegetables? Thank you for the lessons. You motivate me to study. *I just saw that there is a transcript tab. (skill share)🤭Life is so simple🙃
I love your tutorials and followed many of them. The one is so beautiful. One thing that's hard for me to follow about this one is if you wait for complete dry or damp before applying the next layer of paint at each step.
Nia, I wish you the best with this one today. It looks beautiful. I don't know if I'll be home in time to catch it but will definitely watch later if I'm not.
I did it! I am so grateful that you created this video. I did the painting today, start to finish, including the sketch took me 7 hours. So happy to have a Fall painting.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️🍁🍂
Wow, I just recently tried some hot-pressed paper and it definitely looks and behaves differently than hotpressed. I was surprised, and luckily for me, the painting was quite simple and it didn't cause me too much trouble. Thanks to you and others that I have watched on TH-cam, I didn't panic and am very happy at the finished product, although I think that I like hotpressed much better ;)
Hahaha yea! I agree, I don't use hotpressed often, and I have this watercolor sketchbook that I haven't used for a long time because of the paper, so I intentionally look for streaky things to paint on it xD hahaha glad you figured out a way to adjust quickly!
Hi Nia it was a great tutorial especially the mesh or small diamonds created with a single brush stroke that really looked fabulous. I have subbed and liked, great work👍
oh... no xD not at all actually.. I used hot pressed because I figured I'd be able to get the texture of the acorns more, but cold pressed is easier to blend with, because of the rougher surface :))

Absolutely the, light , mid and dark tones very well placed, makes a good work of art #artistsatwork53
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this painting. It seems fall leaves were meant for watercolors. Beautiful job!
Righhtt? watercolor is the best medium to paint fall leaves, the colours just blend together nicely ^__^
