    They don't make Foster/Warren-esque music like this anymore, and it makes me a bit sad. It's all rap, and none of it is even melodic rap like Eminem a few years ago! There's something about the gravitas of the '80s and '90s power ballad that is timeless.

    I think Gary being in there was messing with Vince’s mojo.

    Amy reminded me in all of the house of love moments that just because love of the world may give up the love our Gods last always thru all our days and we don't have to give up on love after all....We just fight for love because love is what we are here for

    @6min= what a freaking PERFECT segue! just the string-line accompanies the scene-change, very very clever!

      Yes! All of a sudden it looks like one of those peacefull setup shots to an episode of Little House on the Prairie.

    I had no idea that Gary Chapman was in there. When I watched the completed video I always assumed he was nowhere around. At one point Amy puts her arms around Vince.

      @@DJMichaelAngelo nope, unfortunately, because that version hadn't the organ, and then they put it and they finished the song, and never recorded the other version without the organ, I mean they never released that version only the finish work :(, but recently a friend channel called "Amy Grant Edits", uploaded the House Of Love Mixes

     Amy Grant's marriage to her first husband, the drug and alcohol addicted Gary Chapman, was extremely unhappy long before she even met Vince Gill. (He kept his addictions secret until he married her.) She has never revealed the truth about the suffering she had to endure at the hands of Gary, for the sake of her 3 children by him. Hence she became the target of criticism in the Christian world. She said that one day the truth will be revealed, hence, she is content to stay silent. Gary Chapman was also extremely jealous of Amy's success.

    Vince doesn't sound so good. Plus, why is he so passive.

    • @brandontbolt
      @brandontbolt 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Pretty sure he only did this because of Amy, you can tell he doesn't care about the song. Otherwise, he would have told bruh to f off.

    • @macmusic08

      I think it was just part of the process of getting a feel for the song and what the producer was trying to get out of him. Plus this producer was a bit of a pushy jack ass at times (in my opinion), that probably didn’t exactly inspire Vince. I like how Vince handled the guy though. That passive thing is the perfect approach with someone like this guy. I’d have been ready to throw up around the fourth or fifth use of “Bruh”

      His thought process probably was “this is Amy’s album not mine, I’ll go with what her producer wants”

      I think he was annoyed, but too nice to say anything about it.
