So awesome to see Amy Grant in a recent video. Thanks for sharing. I saw her way back in the 90s when she did a concert with Vince Gill.

I have always appreciated Amy and her music. There are other interviews she has done where she mentioned, acknowledged that for years her and Vince Gill crossed paths regarding charity, Christmas and special events; including they were neighbors as well. I saw the Christmas special where they sang "House of Love" and remembering thinking she looked and appeared like a high school girl with a crush toward VG.
I found it disturbing at the time however, dismissed my observation because I knew she was married to Gary Chapman and had just appeared on the cover of Christianity Today with him.
Her eyes had stars in them toward VG it was apparent. Subsequently she wrote an album during the time after her departure from Chapman while she was waiting on VG to leave his wife: every song on that album tells the story "I just want to see you smile".
I apologize I do not remember the title of the album I own it it's some where here in the house.
Point: the House of Love Christmas special was not the only or first time she crossed paths with VG by her own admission.
That situation developed over time. It is all in various interviews.
