Literally 10 seconds in I spotted some blue on the Ryzen box and realised it was the Intel sticker just as you said there was an easter egg!

Not hardware, but HTTP response code 418 means "I'm a teapot", which is an interesting easter egg built into the framework of the internet.
It's an April Fools RFC, which has been tradition since the 80s! Other notable examples include "IP over Avian Carriers" (sending network packets by homing pidgeon), a standard for sending sentient life forms over email, an evil bit in the IPv4 header that's supposed to be set by malicious actors, a TCP option to indicate what mood a packet has, scenic routing for IPv6 (complete with Avian Carrier integration), and so on
I want a "smart" teapot that has WiFi just so it can send this message whenever you connect to it.
There is an Easter egg inside of a Compaq Proliant 4000 Server from the late 90s one of the Processor boards has a Piggy bank printed right on the PBC.

Not an Easter egg as much; but one of my fave hardware secrets is that the Nintendo logo on old original NES controllers is actually transparent, and the PCB has unused headers for an LED that was never used, probably to cut costs of the final production since LEDs weren't as cheap in the 80s. In general, early computing is full of easter eggs; like the designers' names in the case of the Amiga. Would make some great follow-up video material. :)

CPU dies often have messages or artwork or images on them; TBH a little smiley face isn't special at all. There is a project and website called iirc the Silicon Zoo, which documents photographs of animals on silicon.
I feel like AMD didn't put the smiley face on purpose. Some guy designing it added it and they just had to put it in the schematics. Lol
The raspberry Pi has a small easteregg I forgot what it was I think was PCB or soc related.
Edit: found it it's the new pi zero W 2 you can see it with the help of x-ray - a raspberry logo.

Your theory is probably correct. Many older datasheets have images of the silicon on them.
A quick Nintendo Easter egg: the Switch Pro controller has a little hidden message engraved into the board, right under the transparent part of the right stick that reads “THX 2 ALL GAMER FANS!”

Dedicated to mryeester. Here's a new Intel easter eggs. So recently Intel changed their logo to a new one. If you look closely an "i" on Intel has a dark blue dot on top of it. Also the background of intel color is light blue. If you inspect the dark blue dot color and the light blue background, dark blue dot color hue is 208 while light blue background hue is 194. Now here's an easter eggs, if you minus 208 and 194, 208-194, it will be 14. It resembles of 14nm process in intel.The 14 nm process refers to the MOSFET technology node that is the successor to the 22 nm node. The 14 nm was so named by the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors. Until about 2011, the node following 22 nm was expected to be 16 nm. Cool isn't it?

Imo this is entirely coincidental. I doubt intel would design their logo to specifically reference the processor let alone the MOSFET technology used. Quite simply a fun coincidence

A while ago on reddit I saw an old computer chip (not sure which one, qll I know is it was 8 bit) being taken apart to reveal sonic etched into the silicon
I think it was a proprietary chip in a Sega console?
The 6510 in the commodore 64 had a commodore logo in the chip if you "delidded" it, or so I have heard

Sidewinder Precision Pro is *not* USB. It uses the gameport, and you can see it clearly, even in this video. Why would you say it's USB???
