Hi, I'm planning to update this old office computer, i just bought four ddr3 4g ram（total 16g）and i7 2600cpu plus gtx1650 low profile gpu, and i also add two 512g ssds(total like 1t) no original hdd anymore, for these upgrade, do i need replace a new psu? Is 240w one good enough?
I think the existing psu will work well with these.
Also finding a high wattage psu that can fit in this casing seems a difficult task.
I have some questions. Can I replace the cpu cooler by a new one with fan, and am I required to use low-profile RAM for this model? Thank you!
This is a low profile pc so its better that you use its own fan for efficient cooling. Also in this pc the CPU does not heat up very much. And for the RAM, this PC uses standard RAMs that are used in tower casing PCs. YOu can use a DDR3 RAM irrespective of its size

@@DukesGaming2024 Hp 8100 elite only supports ddr3 ram and the 1st generation of Intel processors while window 11 required atleast 8th gen or above.

It has pcie x16. It is on the motherboard and seperate from the microprocessor. Changing the microprocessor will not change the pcie

The power supply connector on the motherboard is not supported for regular psu.
You can add upto four sticks of ddr3 4gb rams, total 16 gb of ram
And yes, this is good for browsing and office work. When added a graphics card, this can run high graphics games as well

Hiii, i have almost same pc, My ram is 10gb, Gpu is same Quadro p620, 1TB HDD, and CPU is core i5-2500 But, in RE4 Remake, i am only able to get 40fps at Lowest 720p. All others game you have shown are all running worse in my pc. What could be the issue??
@@knightyeditz9044 You might upgrade the cpu to 3rd gen, and see if it solves the problem. The max you can upgrade is i7 3rd gen and 16gb of ram. You can try upgrading if possible.
On the other hand, fps can be greatly increased if you use a 4gb gpu like gtx1050ti or gtx1660

Using SSD, your pc will turn on faster and also the applications installed on ssd will open very fast compared to hdd.
Upgrading ram, overall performance will be increased. 8 gb will be enough for ps and light gaming.
And gpu is mostly used for video editing and gaming, so you probably won't need that.

If it is a low form factor gpu, then yes it should support it as its psu is enough for it
Also def buy the 8300 model, since it has two full PCIEx16 slots, you could just put the GPU in the 2nd x16 slot, and have something else in the other slot if you plan on using this with two PCIE devices that are larger than x1
Actually the black slot is x16 slot while the white slot has the same dimensions but it is x4 slot

If you're talking about the gpu riser adapter, then you don't need that. The gpu connects directly to the pcie slot in your system unit.

I have one of these, and I still WISH I had gotten some better sort of low profile GPU for the thing. Like... a 1650 would've made this thing last a long while, even as some sort of game capture card system with either a USB 3.0 PCIE card, or if you're lucky enough to find one, just a low profile PCIE capture card.
But well... the scalpocalypse got to the low end/low profile cards, and one of them went up from 180 CAD, to 400 CAD... rip.
Cross your fingers and hope these eBay listings are good so I can have something better lol

I'm not going with more performance I already have a 500gb ssd, a gt 1030 gpu, 16gb of ram, and a core i5 cpu, the motherboard in my computer keeps dying i've replaced it about 2 times now, I'm going to switch to a 400W power supply to prevent it from dying again, I was just wondering because this is the second time that it's died, and i am going to make sure that it has enough thermal paste as well, I don't know exactly what keeps making it die :/ thanks tho 👍

My hp elite only has a built in graphics. So my question is will this card meet minimum system requirements to function properly with elgato HD 60 X? If not.. then video game play I captured will be laggy AF and usable.
This is a 2gb GDDR5 GPU. If you use this card, then it will definitely give a great performance boost as its much much better than the dedicated graphics. If you use this gpu then elgato hd60 X will perform much better than before

This is a small form factor (sff)/desktop PC in which you can only fit small sff graphic cards. As of rx 590, it cannot fit due to its large form factor for tower casings.
You can if you get creative. Use a PCI riser cable to move the location of the GPU, then cut the back of the case to allow connections.
The problem is the PSU isn't strong enough. However, the PSU can be upgraded. You will need to use an adapter to connect the HP motherboard to a standard 24 pin ATX however.
Honestly, it would be better to pair it with something smaller, and less power consuming. Good luck.
