In 1982 I started learning martial arts age 9. Horse stance was one of the allowed positions while I waited my turn to learn. Now I do horse randomly when I’m waiting for something, laundry to finish, food to cook, etc. I do without resistance, I want to. Much love ☯️🙏
Thank you Kitaro! I have been following and implementing the different techniques from your channel for almost 2 years now! Really feeling the benefits from the movement, mindset, cold exposure and breathwork!
Great video kitaro. the horse stance has been a part of my life for over 30 years, ive been including other qi gong stances, your thoughtful ways keep my motivation high!
A previous video of yours some time back refined my approach to the horse stance from what I learned watching Wim Hof. I have done a static horse stance holding a broom handle for up to 90 seconds, but do a less stringent one daily for 3 minutes after my cold shower. It's a deeper stance than the Wim Hof one, but with arm movement. I'm going to try the tips in this video to take it to the next level. Good stuff. Thanks
Thank-you for such a detailed explanation on the horse stance. This is very new to me as I come from a traditional weight training background. I am going to use your suggested techniques to build strength and resilience while practicing the horse stance. I simply love your channel ❤️
I've been following your channel for some time. I remember when you barely had 4k subscribers. Very cool to see your growth. Thank you for your wisdom!
Hi thanks for your vids...after i do my breath work in the morning sometimes i take a breath and hold...no competition just till i feel the urge.. went to 5 min this morning.. have you seen anything that says this is a bad thing to do?...pretty sure the body knows how to cope and it always determins how i go about my day, if i can only hold for 2 min I take it easy, many thanks Scott
Just discovered this channel now by searching up informatio on breathwork, I wish I had done so sooner! On a side note, the (very slight) accent sounded familiar and pleasing but I couldn't relate it with the name. Of course it's Swiss :)
I love your videos and can see how you have listened to Andrew Huberman and implement the learnings into the video. I am doing horse stance now in random places and practicing more often
+20 something years. Higher stance the longest I stood was 2 hourse without moving a muscle. Thighs parallel to the ground it was 8 minutes: th-cam.com/video/4g9YLkQ-W5g/w-d-xo.html
Whatever you do, have something to grab onto at the end of your endurance, because it you can't maintain the squat, you sure as hell won't be able to stand upright.😂

The body can handle it. As long as you're not in or near water, or driving.
I need to get more into the Horse Stance. Thus far I've only really used it for Qigong, but if it's so foundational I might spend more time with it.

Glad you like my channel. Yeah, even if I try, you can still hear that I'm Swiss.
Such a great video. This spoke to me about knee strengthening with the 3 examples you gave. 🙏🏻
Thank you very much! I'm glad that you could take something out of the video.
Thank you so much Kitaro for the work you are doing, your channel helped me to implement some interesting practices in my life. Much love

Thanks for this information, love doing this
30 min. Wow! That's crazy hard
Thanks for watching 🧡
I will have to try this. Let me see whether I will be able to do it as I am partly paralysed.
Ahhhhhhhhh 🤠
How many years have you been training mabu and what is your standup time?

Everyone finds it odd that I do the eastern squat here In merica
