CV Boot Repair - Quick & Easy Under $20

In this video we discuss the predominate 3 methods for solving your leaky CV boot problem. We apply the most affordable method using super glue in this video as an experiment. I will follow up over time on the efficacy and longevity of the repair to determine how long we might expect the super glue repair to last.
Three Predominate Solutions (Listed Highest Cost to Lowest Cost)
Replace the boots. You can purchase a whole new axle which will come with new CV boot or purchase new boots and install them on the existing axles. This method is time consuming and costly (few hundred dollars).
Use a speedy boot to replace the old CV Boots. The longevity you get out of this method is highly dependent on the quality of installation. You should be able to get 2-3 years out of this solution. Installation quality is important here.
Use super glue to close the opening where grease is leaking out.

I saw a video where the guy used a small piece of flex tape...heated a flat head screwdriver and CAREFULLY melted the rubber together....held up better than most quick fixes
