HOW TO MAKE AN ELASTIC CASING WITH YOUR SERGER ~HOW TO SEW AN ELASTIC WAISTBAND. SERGER TECHNIQUES

In this video I will show you how to make a quick casing using your serger. This is a time saving method that provides a nice professional waistband with no raw edges. Its the easiest way to attach the waistband.
This waistband casing can be used when sewing a skirt or pants or shorts.
The casing is like a tunnel that you push your elastic through...you could pull a drawstring though it instead of elastic.
I'm using a brother serger 1034d
At the end of this video you will know how to attach elastic to fabric by making a casing.
