You’re totally right! I was still and currently am pretty new to content creation so I’m constantly improving, but since this video is a little old it was definitely a problem at this time. If you check out my recent videos I think my mic quality and effectiveness at fixing those things via proper editing has definitely improved in a lot of aspects including the one you mentioned :) and I appreciate that brotha, glad I could help!

Its mostly up to date, the only things I think might need to be changed are some of the numbers. For example True Magic Damage doesnt roll as high on items anymore (Used to be able to get +2 on rings, now you can only get +1), other than that though the builds and information is still almost completely up to date :D

love the vid, but i was curious if you multiclass rogue poision onto warlock with high will, will the dmg scale at all? im curious to see if its possible to make a poison build in any fashion, via multiclassing it onto a class with the willpower to make it effictive
As far as a mele warlock build goes I do believe poison weapon could be really insane, I mention it a tiny bit at the end of the video and will be mentioning it in the melee warlock video again. Just to elaborate on what I said in the video though, while im not positive it scales with your will even though I assume it does, I know undoubtably that it does scale with +add magic damage and + true magic damage on gear which is the main way to scale it from what I understand. As a melee warlock you are already building these stats to scale your crystal sword damage, or even if youre not using a crystal sword it still scales your Blow of corruption and Dark reflection so poisoned weapon just fits in very nicely to the melee warlock build. In a perfect world you would probably also get ignite from wizard and the potential for all of the different sources of magic damage coming together could make for something pretty crazy.
Currently Id say that the Torture Mastery Warlock that uses Curse of pain, Flamewalker, Hellfire, Hydra and Lifedrain is probably the strongest build, I showcase it in my most recent video at the beginning where I show all the gear, perks, skills and such. I currently dont have an ETA on a melee warlock guide at the moment and it got thrown off by Multiclassing coming out but now after they nerfed BOC and Dark Reflection for like the 4th+ time I think most melee warlock builds are in a pretty rough spot at least in solos but I do know Euthafro just made a video on melee warlock recently that might be worth checking out, If I have time Ill try and test it a little more and potentially come out with a guide :)

Thanks for taking the time to comment :) I think at this current time with the introduction of multiclassing its made it a bit more difficult to really create that type of video since most of the competitive builds are realistically just some combination of perks and skills from other classes which requires some level of RNG to roll the right perks and skills. In the current state I think Ive decided to work on creating a video that will go over some of the best multiclass builds for Warlock which most of them right now are Melee in my opinion. If you want to see an example of the build that I think is probably the best for melee warlock and likely warlock in general then Id recommend you check out this recent video I made th-cam.com/video/OlUmb2UI6oc/w-d-xo.html As I mentioned, I think this is probably the best melee warlock build at the moment even though it does certainly have some drawbacks such as having a rather slow boss kill time but when it comes to PVP its certainly one of the best options warlock has right now for solos :) Feel free to let me know if you have any specific questions regarding melee warlock though and ill be happy to help in whatever ways I can!

Video dropping later today thats going to have 3 insanely strong melee builds in it, they are all some form of multiclass but if you want to avoid multiclassing you can adapt them as needed to be strictly warlock perks, skills and spells! :) Also, Im glad to hear you got the game recently and started off with Warlock, lets go!!!

By chance do you have any recent video suggestions for newer basekit warlock players like myself that would like a nice beginner build for solo goblin caves? Right now, I feel like as a caster warlock with torture master, it’s a worse wizard. I’m also struggling to find beginner videos for the classes I like that aren’t months old, and so I’m grateful you talked about normal dungeons in this video. If I could request a video it would be about warlocks starting out in solos and how to compete with other casters and melee classes. I would appreciate if you could make a video like that, if you can’t then no worries. Thanks again, and I’ll check out those videos for sure.

Just as a tip for you right away though, if youre starting out Melee Warlock is going to be more effective on a lower budget/in Normals. A non multiclass set up would look something like this - Perks: Dark Reflection, Soul Collector (These two synergize together), Shadow Touch and Antimagic. Skills: Blow of Corruption + Spell memory or Phantomize for pure melee. Caster Warlock is unfortuantely pretty poopy on a low budget/Normals and like you said a worse version of wizard tbh if youre not multiclassing but it would look like this - Perks: Torture Mastery, Vampirism, Dark Reflection, Soul collector and Skills: Spell Memory + Phantomize. There is an extremely strong Normals/low budget Caster lock multiclass build that uses two perks from cleric which are Advanced Healer and Overhealing and you drop Dark reflection+soul collector for them. But obviously youd have to go through the process of leveling up a cleric and such and then hope you get those perks via the RNG of the learning token system. Hope these tips help out a little bit in the meantime while I start thinking about making a beginner warlock guide :)
