What a couple of stunning 4GTs! The primrose yellow example is utterly gorgeous!

The prettiest car in the world! A DB 4 GT in primrose yellow. Cheers from Sweden!

great passion here for the DB4GT in detail. Learned a great deal about the 9 lightweights thanks. 18TVX was in Goodwood livery but repainted now? Please bring the primrose car to Pebble, would love to see it!

Stephen Archer was a great guest. His enthusiasm was infectious. I learned a lot from the video. Just needed a GT Zagato to make the story complete 😉

@@TomHartleyJnrLtd Really enjoyed the video of these two stunning looking DB4GTs. Live 15 minutes from the Newport Aston works but only see the modern Astons parked out front now, none of which for me look as good as these two GT4s.

The story of these cars is absolutely fascinating, and the three quarters of an hour seemed to pass in a fraction of that time. Pure quality - both of cars and conversation; thank you. More please!

have to say that between the 4, 5 and 6, the db4 is my favourite
so over the db5 james bond thing
the bd4 has to be right up there as one of the most beautiful cars ever built, and the zagato takes it just that little bit further - in my opinion
have a beautiful print of the '61 tt race in my office and was always in awe of the swb and gt flying around the track
great vid, really enjoyed it 👍

    Great channel.
Just discovered your dad’s channel as well.
That C-Reg Aston Martin DB4 GT, in British Racing Green/ Goodwood Green, is my 1965 Birth year car:
Coming in, in August 1964 for one year, most of 1965.
Some commentators on the Collecting Cars Podcast latest:
Episode 2 of their ‘Collecting Cars’ podcast (episode 2 of the revamped format with a panel of taking heads; instead of the more expensive individual guests, like the lockdown series,
advertising for online car auction site for hat also has Swiss watches on now, were postulating that Aston Martin is about to be taken over.
I have seen the MrJWW series at Aston Martin’s state of the art heritage restoration facility at historic Newport Pagnall and there’s the excellent DBX707 South Wales purpose built factory for you their Mercedes AMG powered SSUV.
Perhaps you could buy it with the correct backing?
It has the successful F1 team, just now with ex-World champion Fernado Alonso their new signing just reporting for duty at the F1 facility adjacent to Silverstone Race Track.
Collecting Cars were also writing-off Jaguar Cars.
That another great British brand you could develop.

Great episode Tom, one of your best and a worthy start to 2023.
I'd have the Primrose and enjoy holding the Best of Show trophy at Pebble Beach ;)
ps...any chance you can get a hold of one of the competition LWB Cali Spyders for a drool and review episode?

I wonder if in period, the primrose one could have towed the green one to the races?
Now that would have been bad ass.

I'm a collector only for classic cars in their status of the "First Restauration". I'd like to buy the Primrose Db4 GT but only if you change it back in his "Original First Restoration" status! Please contact me if the car is again "Dark blue with beige leather" PS: I wonder. Don't you know the newest collector trend: "Collect The First Restauration Status"? 😉

I have to wonder what kind of fine it is in the UK to run sans front plate. I have never run front plates on any of my cars and I have never once been stopped for it in thirty seven years of driving. If I owned one of these two beauties, there is no way I'd run a front plate on them.

What a shame that someone has “any” car with the “lowest mileage”. It was meant to be driven. Otherwise it’s a paperweight and not as intended.
