Kudos to you Tom and everyone at Tom Hartley Jnr Ltd. This Aston Martin DB4 Zagato is simply stunning and probably one of the greatest cars made brought back to perfection by you and your wider team. Thank you for sharing this with the world. We all look forward to more content from you. Keep up the magnificent work. All the best.
For lovers of GT cars of that period (like me), it doesn't get any better than this one. It's absolutely stunning. I like to think that its next owner will drive it in the manner it was intended. Good video - thanks for sharing this beauty!
That is an utter stunner! Wow!! Always love the absolute enthusiasm you explain the story Tom. As an owner of many modern era V12 Newport and Gaydon V12 Astons I appreciate your devotion to authenticity of a truly unique car.. well done 👍🏻
What a truly stunning automobile, beautiful in every way. I actually prefer the headlights as fitted to this car. I imagine it's going to realise a huge amount of money, worth every penny I'd say. I remember being at the Silverstone classic event many years back and there were two DB4GT Zagato in attendance, a joy to see and to photograph!
Restoration of the year! Bravo. I saw this one at Bodylines, masters of the english wheel. The original panels were power hammer shrunk, a lost art I presume.
Beautiful car and a great colour could just join my all time favourites, love your videos always an education and it’s like visiting an art gallery. I remember at school my first model car was a Corgi DB4 in primrose yellow loved it .
My favourite car. I first saw one in the car park field at Goodwood🎉. I couldn’t believe it was firstly in a field with thousands of other cars and secondly that it had been driven to the meet. Such a valuable and rare car but the custodian (his words not mine) was prepared to drive it from his home to the racetrack.
Beautiful car absolutely gorgeous. I’d much rather have this than a Ferrari f 40 or f50. Thanks for showing this to the people who are never going to own it
Looks very related to the Maserati A6G. I think the proportions of the Maserati works better (sorry😅), as this is a bit top heavy in its proportions. The rear is absolutely very similar to the 250 SWB. And I bet the car looks outstanding in person, but for me the Maserati is a league above in the design department - but this is totally subjective and no particular wrong or right ❤
I remember reading that the very first series I DB4’s had overheating issues in Italy because they had only been tested in UK weather. Maybe they had that in mind with the hood lid.
Very nice but you say you want to keep the patina but besides the small scratches on the glass that you couldn't get rid off, what else is there as it looks all new and it is now just a restored car.
By special do you mean not half as beautiful as the rest with the covered lights ? It does look nice, and the restoration quality is truly amazing But I'd want the proper look myself
A truly beautiful Aston/Zagato. It's an elegant car, but the grille is a little too small. The front of the Ferrari 250 GT swb does it so much better in terms of proportion, it pains me to say so as I prefer Aston Martins.
Absolute work of art, so much more than just a car. I hope it finds a home where it is allowed to breathe and not just hidden away.

Many thanks!
I would listen to Tom describe the provenance of a pack of gum. You are a brilliant storyteller, Sir.
Probably the most beautiful car i have ever seen...simply stunning in every which way.
Absolutely stunning example of a beautiful car . Well done tom for sharing it with us
A truly beautiful car. You must feel like a kid in a sweet shop everyday!
I worked at Aston Martin for 10 years and saw many different models, this car has to be the most beautiful of the all.
Excellent presentation of of a true unicorn and a credit to you and your restoration partners !
I could listen to Tom for hours, great car
What a stunning car, achingly beautiful. Can imagine a relaxed road trip across Europe in it.
Absolutely adore this machine. Top 3 cars ever. Along with an S1 Continental DHC, and 250 Cal Spyder.
This’ll be the best 12 minutes of my day.
Great choices
Thanks for sharing …
And also thanks to all the craftsmanship specialists for the exceptional work allowing us to admire this masterpiece 👌
We Need More Content like This Please .... ❤
Absolutely flawless well done on such a fabulous restoration, and congratulations to the lady/gentleman who becomes the new custodian of this vehicle
that indeed is one spectacularly gorgeous DB4. Some of those details are mind-blowing.
Wow that is a stunning restoration you have given that car. Amazing attention to detail. Congratulations.
That's more than a car. That's an absolute work of art.
Stunning restoration to a very beautiful car! 👌👏

Good video - thanks for sharing this beauty!
Without doubt a spectacular restoration. I smiled when you used the word ‘patina’ with regard the glass, when you have removed it everywhere else.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful car and story 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it!
What a stunner Tom, congratulations to all involved in the restoration of this beauty

My gosh what a beautiful car! Exquisite in every way! Wow
WOW! The original owner of that Aston absolutely nailed it! Open headlights all the way!👍❤️
We agree!
Tom, you have most icredible stock in the world. And a lot of true passion for these masterpieces.
Absolutely stunning.WOW,WOW,WOW
Just breathtaking!

Glorious.

Wow. What a fantastic creation.
We agree!
A British gentleman the Zagato and Tom! Thanks for sharing
Beautiful car and a great colour could just join my all time favourites, love your videos always an education and it’s like visiting an art gallery.

Stunningly beautyful car!
What a beauty... and your 5990 on your wrist too...
Another fantastic video. Looking forward to the next one.
Just a stunning Aston!
Absolutely stunning car
Stunning.

Stunning...just gorgeous
It really is!
Very pleasant line and length indeed.
It is stunning.
Truly stunning...
Beautiful showroom ….. every car a gem …..
Very beautiful car!
What a stunning car
Absolutely beautiful 👌
Wow just wow!
Superb restoration also! Will we see you take it out on the road Tom? That would be something
Stunning car. I understand why you took it back to the original colour, but it did look stunning in the dark blue it used to be.
Stunning!
Stunning looker
Incredible.
Beautiful car ❤️👍🏴
One of the boxes to tick-off in my life bucket list of life, is to purchase a car from Tom Hartley, someday 🤞🏼😊🤞🏼
Spot on 👍
Beautiful car absolutely gorgeous. I’d much rather have this than a Ferrari f 40 or f50. Thanks for showing this to the people who are never going to own it
Glad you liked it!
Beautiful
beautiful car
2:58 DB4GT/0190/L is the other DB4 GT Zagato with the chrome plated brass window frame surrounds rather than aluminium.
That’ll do it!
That’s a good lookin’ car!!!
Amazing car
What an absolute stunning vehicle
Art.
I've seen a db4 bertone jet, well that's what I think it was, it was in Limerick Ireland, it was beside a bmw 507, a beautiful pair indeed.
Beautiful! But for me, the original DB4 design is without doubt the prettiest Aston ever built!
More videos please Tom !!!!🇦🇺
Would way rather see it unrestored, but great video!
Zagato is the $hit!
A wonderful Car ! 🤗👋👋👋
Stunning and i bet the price tag is too
Tom Jnr, is the only Hartley I’d deal with.
Looks very related to the Maserati A6G.

Maybe they had that in mind with the hood lid.
nice video, I just wonder why the headlights are so different from other DB4GT Zagato(s)?
The Tip on the Top
Wow ❤
Beautiful machine. I note it does not have a 7000 rpm tacho like most GTs - is that original?
Wonderful car with a very careful restoration, though aesthetically I much prefer the Touring DB4 GT.
I’m not usually lost for words.. 😮
There's always a first time 😉
This car used to be blue, it's my favorite DB4 GTZ just because it's different with its open headlights.
Exquisite. Nothing more to say….
Very nice but you say you want to keep the patina but besides the small scratches on the glass that you couldn't get rid off, what else is there as it looks all new and it is now just a restored car.
🎉
Stunning car. Why don't we start making more retro style cars? They are so much more elegant than modern designs.
Is it Chassis #0188L?
It definitely looks like a British 250 SWB with the open headlights but weirder proportions. Not a fan at all compared to the "normal" DB4 GT Zagato
I agree. The 'special' features don't add to the look in my humble opinion.
By special do you mean not half as beautiful as the rest with the covered lights ?
It does look nice, and the restoration quality is truly amazing
But I'd want the proper look myself
Obviously Tom has a genuine love affair with this car, and with good reason.
Honestly, didn't know one with exposed headlights even existed
25 milli?
I can’t actually gell with its looks, especially the nose, the factory db4gt behind it is far prettier to me.
Amazing car nonetheless the less.
A truly beautiful Aston/Zagato. It's an elegant car, but the grille is a little too small. The front of the Ferrari 250 GT swb does it so much better in terms of proportion, it pains me to say so as I prefer Aston Martins.
Interior perhaps too well restored ?
What we talking 6- 8 million ?? As the others are around 4-5 mil
Tom I know where there’s a Lamborghini countach sitting in a shipping container in Ireland, it’s right hand drive
