Thanks Darren, I remembered your video alright when I was up at Geokaun and looking at the lighthouse. As you say, it was a lot of ground covered in a day, and a return trip will be on the cards at some stage alright. The list of places I’ve to go back to is getting longer all the time 🤣

Great sunrise shots, sea sounds, and I liked the shot of the birds as the sun went down.
Nice to see a man from Cork appreciating the delights of Co Kerry.!

Thanks Robert, there’s one shot there where the bird is pretty much passing thru the sunbeam as it hits the water. There were a few flying around there and I was happy with how close I got it. Trying to go further afield a bit but it’s hard to not keep coming back to Kerry. 😁👍

Thank you Eddie, as always. 😉 Valentia Island is one of my favourite places. There is a nice bog on it, with a lonely house, with painted words on it. Next Pint New York. 😉

thanks again.. I didn't see that on this trip, but there will be others at some stage. It's those small little things make a place interesting..

Thank you Eddie. I'm in the planning phase of my second trip to Ireland and this reaffirmed some places I want to see. I also used your slea head drive video to find more places. As always your videos are fantastic. Cheers

'twas very hazy all day, so I'm glad to have got the ones I did. I was surprised with a few when I got home as I didn't think they were up to much on the day,,, its often the case tho when out for a long one. thanks again Paddy 👍

Nice one Ed. I did a trip around this area back in 2015. I remember those kerry cliffs being spectacular. Was lucky enough to get a boat out to the skilligs with a local fisherman too! Very lucky. Kerry has it all.

thanks James, I'm very poor for having seen so little of the country, I'm getting there tho, it will take another few decades :)
to get the trip out with a local fisherman must have been very cool, they are on the list, its a long list, but hopefully next year at some stage.. 👍

Kerry cliffs are a better spot than Moher in my opinion, definitely hit up Derrynane/Cahirdaniel, we camp down there alot, come class viewing points, the beaches are some of the best about, Abbey Island, Binn ui Ruairc and Cnoc na Stoca are lovely, some nice waterfalls too.

I haven’t been to the Cliffs of Moher since I was a young fella, so it will be interesting to head back at some stage. Thanks for the location tips, I’m not familiar with the place so great to get some pointers. 🤣

@@eddieforde Despite living in Clare, I am a bit embarrassed to say that I had only been to the Cliffs of Moher twice, both times briefly, so earlier this year rectified that by walking the cliff path from Doolin to Hag's Head and back, a 22 km round trip. The Visitor Centre was crowded as I expect it always is, I counted 30 coaches, so it was nice to walk straight through it and on to quieter paths! A few more people on the second half of the route out to Hag's Head, but I had the path from/to Doolin to myself. Windy, but not too windy, producing crashing waves, the sea a beautiful turquoise in places. Lovely walk, would deffo recommend Ed.

@@jude6000 thanks so much for that, I’d been looking at Clare for a while now and was actually up around Fanore 2 weeks ago. I was thinking the Cliffs might still be busy so gave them a miss. The route you’ve mentioned there has been added to the list. The Clare coast has been on the todo list for a while. Roll on the off season 😁👍
