Food Network has gone from real cooking shows to "celebrities try to cook and host parties" and sorry, I could care less what celebrities do much less what they cook!
I watched Paula and all the other chefs and cooks on FoodNetwork for years, I learned so much. But when it became a competition with over the top personalities I quit. Not the same anymore.
All of those lovely pots hanging on the wall and Paula uses her old Revereware! I love it! (I have my mom's original set of Reverware from when she married my dad in 1956! It's still going strong to this day!) I love spinach artichoke dip! My old boss used to make it and bring it to the break room for the entire staff to enjoy! (and we did! Thanks again Joe!)
New revereware from when I got married 17 years ago are not of the same quality. I have gotten rid of most of it. It was terrible. But I’m on the hunt for a used old set at yard sales!
I still have my Revere Ware pots and pans from 1963. I stopped using them for a couple of years and now I see they are pitted, so I can't use them. Only a 25 year guarentee
That’s the good stuff. My grandma has a the same pots and No even though I’m her fave grandchild when I got my place she was not having given me the dang pots !!!
Dana , I wish I had my grandmother's Revereware cookware. They did last a long time !! I don't know who got hers when she pasted away , but I'm sure they still have them . However, I do have a set of Paula Deen's cookware !! Mine are red and I use them everyday . 😊❤👍
I just love your cute southern self so much!!!!!! Born and raised in Alabama.....you teaching us how our great grandparents, grandparents, and even parents did it in the day! Give me all the butter and the deliciousness! Forget 2020 and the disaster of this year.....I want my southern cooking roots back! If we gonna die....we gonna go out fat, full and happy! 😘
I'm going to catch hell for this comment but it's a shame that Paula lost her cooking show and everything because of comments in her past. She apologized and took full responsibility. Now, I'm not agreeing with the comments, no way! But let's look at the fact that Robert Irvine lied about EVERYTHING in his background and his experience and never apologized. Food Network not only took him back, they gave him 2 or 3 more shows. I sure wish that the air could be cleared with Paula. At least she was honest. It would be nice to see her back on the Food Network. It would also be awfully nice to see her mend fences with the black community and be an example that people can change for the better.
I agree! Everyone makes mistakes and God says to forgive! I already forgave her. I use to love watching her show. I was saddened by what she did, but like i said i forgave her already.
I cant judge Paula. Im pretty sure Id be angry and terrified if I had a gun in my face. I support Paula. I dont look to the WOKIES to see who I should support.
Ms. Paula I don’t know if you read these comments or not but I just wanted to say how happy your videos make me. I would sit and watch your show on food network whenever I was at my grandmas house. Watching these videos brings back so many happy memories I have with her. She passed away back in 2014 and I miss her so much every single day. Thank you so much for posting! With love from Texas! 💕💕
I look forward to these shows every morning and watch them while I’m getting ready. Thank you for helping to start my day off on a happy note. This is absolutely my favorite cooking show!
I love these videos. There's not much worth watching on the Food Network now that you are not there. It's also such a blessing to feel like a member of your family for a few minutes.
My grown daughter introduced us to this dip and brings it to Christmas Eve because we expect it, it’s so good. I didn’t realize it was a Paula Deen recipe until recently. OMGOODNESS, it’s awesome. ⚡️💖⚡️
I was thinking the same thing!!!! That made me LOL literally!!! 🤣 and she’s just so adorable!! Her giggles and personality!! I could happily model after her as I age!!
I didn't miss one episode watching you on Food Network .i absolutely love you . I'm so glad I get to see you on TH-cam now I make a lot of your recipes🍖🍗
I like how you think. Now I’m wondering what it would taste like if those garlic cloves were roasted, along with the sautéed onions Paula suggested 🤔. I may be smelly/funky after eating it but my stomach & taste buds will thank me lol
@To Be Honest Comedy central is Okay, but the comedy is so preplanned that sometimes it is hard to laugh at. Paula has a natural sense of humor that comes through in the hilarious things she says quite unintentionally!
I just love you it would have most sweetest kindest person and honest is nothing wrong with taking Paula bites I do it all the time LOL I truly do cherish you every morning I look forward to a video you start my day off every morning by the way I love your cookbook and I love all the things I got from you they are very well made you mean the world to me God bless you Paula Deen

Miss Paula, I love this basic recipe! I have added a couple of things that really elevate it, though, that you might like. I add a tub of veggie cream cheese along with the mayo and sour cream. I also add a couple of cloves of minced garlic, about a half cup of sautéed onion, and I put some shaved parm in with my buttered crackers. It's AMAZING!
I for one am glad that paula has come back to a great sucess. Miss Paula, you are so genine. I undertand making it thru the rain and I bask in your sunshine Lady girl. : )

I make a killer dip!!! Was called upon to make several dishes for an overnight ladies retreat and accidentally left all of my cheeses in a bag at the store. Wasn't going back, just didn't have the time or energy for it, so decided to make due with what I had. So I used about 4-6oz of each cheese for the original, smaller dish. I had just pulled it out of the oven when another lady showed up to give me a hand with all I had to do, and she didn't even say hello but asked, "what is that wonderful aroma?" So we both snuck a taste from the corner and it was near euphoria it was so good!!! So she asked me how hard it was to make and I told her not hard to make, just a long list of ingredients. So she told me she'd go to the store to get the ingredients if I'd make another so we could eat on the one I had already made, and I agreed. She Came back with a mountain of the ingredients and got me to make a huge batch so we could take two large casserole dishes of it to the retreat and another two dishes for us to put in the freezer for later. Not exactly what I had originally agreed to but she helped me and it was easier than I thought it would be. Everybody loved it and asked for the recipe. I'm not exactly a recipe follower and usually just measure by handful, half a handful, a dash of this or that. So I have a list of the ingredients to share. You can use equal cheese weights, cut the recipe, add or take away what you don’t like or however you want to do it, but I have to tell you, this combination is absolutely amazing!!! If it makes too much for your family or event, just portion it out and freeze the rest for later orshare witha friend, because you'll want more of it. Enjoy Y'all!!!
Me too! Also, don’t think just crackers for dipping: vegetables are great to dip in this, with the added bonus that you can tell yourself you’re EATING HEALTHY. 😋
Love spinach dip! I have a recipe request (may not be something everyone has at home on the ready but something my taste buds have been craving since not being able to go out to eat) Crab Cakes with Remoulade sauce! I love a good seafood dish but I haven’t had one since Covid19 lockdown. Looking at the glass half full, I will be a better cook after all this!
That looks so good !! I LOVE spinach dip . My family and I make ours a little different . We don't cook it with Ritz crackers and cheese . We mix it up and put it in the refrigerator . But omgosh .... I know I would love this too !! Miss Paula , if you get a chance go watch Helen Wyatt's channel on TH-cam ( helen wyatt ) . She lives in Dublin Ga. She's 82 yrs old and she makes her own garden projects and sometimes she even cooks . Like if she's frying chicken....she calls Georgia fried chicken . HAHAHA...!! She's the sweetest thing....!! She tells stories as she's working too . She talks about the Lord and she talks about how everyone should be kind to one another and things like that . I usually don't mention someone else's channel on TH-cam , but you and her are my favorites to watch here on TH-cam . Thank you Miss Paula for another delicious recipe !! P.S. Your grandson is such a handsome little fella . I know he loves y'all as much as you love him . ❤😘
Miss Paula, I was so happy to find your cooking videos here. I always look for a persons heart to see their true self.....who they really are. All I have ever seen in your heart was genuine, kind, loving.....and real. Lord knows we've all made mistakes in life. I certainly have. What counts is whats in your heart and all I have ever seen in you is good. Keep the videos coming!!
I just made this but followed the recipe in link in the description- it’s different than the video. It’s a really good dip and everyone loved it. So creamy but it’s all about the vegetables. I started with caramelized onion, then added red pepper flakes and 3 cloves crushed garlic to warm pan. I don’t know if I’d used the lemon zest the recipe calls for again... it’s different. I also didn’t do the cracker topping. I waited until it came out of the oven and topped in with fresh grated Parmesan while it was piping hot.
Your grandson is precious!! I have three sons. They’re my heart and pride and joy 💓 I just died laughing when you said they tried to teach you how to take “ Princess Bites” and you never got it down right!! ❤️😆😜
People tell me that I remind them of you and it is such a compliment. I am absolutely loving you and your new youtube series. I hope you will continue indefinitely!
It is such a blessing to watch your new show here on You Tube. You have been so missed and your personality and unending treasure trove of knowledge of good food and the best recipes on planet earth are a magical combo no other food celebrity has yet to marry together in the same way you have. Thank you for being such a ray of sunshine in such challenging times and for being vulnerable and real. These qualities are sorely missed these days. You are a true blessing and thank you again for putting a much needed smile on my face and the rest of America’s as well. Blessings to you!!!!!’
I can't wait for the hot summer days. It's June 2 and here in Oregon I just turned my heat on. That looks delicious and super simple! Thank you for sharing all these recipes, I have enjoyed watching them during this time. I really hope you will continue to make these videos. God Bless!
I have made this recipe quite a few times because it’s my family’s favorite dish. I ❤❤❤ this spinach artichoke dip. Don’t try making it any other way because they do not like it any other way. It’s absolutely perfect just the way it is!! The only thing is that we don’t use is the ritz crackers we use the New York bagel crisp because that’s what Paula used to use to dip the spinach artichoke dip! Also, I want to add that I always have to double the recipe because if I don’t there won’t be enough to go around 😂😂😂.
PAULA...I need the best(you) to show me how to make an old fashioned lemon ice box pie..Not the cool whip one. I never can get them to set up..HELP I need this ...lol
I can't tell you our secret family recipe for one, but I'll tell you a good one. First, Always omit the cool whip. The trick is to sweeten the softened cream cheese and cream it well in the mixer till smmoth. Next, add the sweetend condensed milk and mix til smooth. Then, add lots of fresh lemon juice and zest. (Not so much that will make it watery though) Then, put it in a honey maid Graham cracker crust and freeze. 😊
Here I am, not even 10:30 am in Atlanta and you have made me so hungry for this recipe! Thank you for sharing. Sending HUGS, PRAYERS, LOVE, A SMILE and KINDNESS! 🌷 🌷 🌷
I love spinach dip but never made it before. I agree with Paula, some sautéed onions would be a great addition to this recipe. My only question is could I substitute the mayonnaise with cream cheese since I don’t eat mayonnaise 🤔. Guess I’ll have to get in the kitchen & try!
Maybe you could substitute plain Greek yogurt or extra sour cream? Cream cheese might be too thick, but maybe it would work if you whipped it with a hand mixer or added some milk to thin it out a bit? It sounds like it would be delicious actually! I may have to try a version using vegan cream cheese and coconut milk.
Thank you SO much Ms. Paula for this recipe!!!! I LOVE spinish and artichoke dip!!! I agree a little sauteed onion would just make this dip even better!!!! Love you!!!!
And garlic! Although I've never had this dip...I'm sure onions as well as garlic (wrapped in foil in the oven...nice & sweet) would be a great addition.
Love you Paula! Im dying to know what diffuser youre using there on you kitchen counter. I always see it steamin away and over there and wonder what scent your using. Thanks so much❤❤❤
I want your kitchen!! You are a beautiful lady and I have enjoyed these quarantine TH-cam videos, I’m keeping my fingers crossed the videos Don’t stop.
Love you Paula Lol,I had a heart attack and quadrupole bypass surgery 4 years ago but honestly I still.love my butter and crackers.Just remember my fellow Moms and Grandmothers if you start hurting between your shoulders,You need to call the ambulance,I just happen to be at my Drs office.God Bless
Hi Mrs.Paula, Just saw your recipe and it looks so good.I have learned so much from watching you for many years. You are beautiful inside and out.And you take as big a bite as you like! Lol Love you from Nashville.
I love spinach artichoke dip. I like to add lemon and garlic powder to it too. And sometimes use plain greek yogurt to replace sour cream. Like you said Paula, is that there's so many different ways to do this. Yummu
@@peterligma2401 I am a person of color. Thank you for telling me that I have color. I'm also human, if you hadn't noticed. Racism separates core values; the discernment is, and I quote Maya Angelou: "when you are asked to be the best you can be; but rather focus on being better;" So I'm "better" than articulating matters on social indifference but appreciate and tolerate others, as should you. Hi Paula. My sons love this dip, so I am going to make it and also I send it to my son, that is learning new recipes. You and your family stay bless and love from us to you from Texas. 💞
I don't watch Food Network anymore. Your show was one of the best. I'm so happy to watch you again. My family has enjoyed many of your recipes.
Food Network has gone from real cooking shows to "celebrities try to cook and host parties" and sorry, I could care less what celebrities do much less what they cook!
I really enjoy this style of cooking show, it's more intimate and 'real.' I hope Paula continues doing them!
I watched Paula and all the other chefs and cooks on FoodNetwork for years, I learned so much. But when it became a competition with over the top personalities I quit. Not the same anymore.
Mini Bene agree. We do our own thing. Celebrities have let us down. Maybe it’s because we are awake? 😘🙏🏼🇺🇸
Thank you, Paula, for opening your home, your heart, and your recipes. They are indeed, “best dishes”. God bless all your endeavors!

Paula cracked me up the way she dismissed her grandson. So funny. Her family is beautiful. I love that we are in her home with her each day!
Paula is literally one of the only things that makes me grin subconsciously, like she’s just so sweet and cute

Food Network needs to look at all the scams as in Bobby Flay
Ms. Paula I don’t know if you read these comments or not but I just wanted to say how happy your videos make me. I would sit and watch your show on food network whenever I was at my grandmas house.
Oh yes!
Also crab dip
@@Shelley071 New Orleans Remoulade!!
Love your cooking, this is my favorite dip. Just love watching you. I’m so glad you are back for us.
"Paula bites" 😂
I love her little giggle
That looked delicious and your grandson is so handsome!
I recognize that face from Views On The Road, don't I?
Hi Paula, Theresa, Eddie, Michael, and everyone on set! Love y'all. Love ALLLLL the way from Africa.
Hello from Canada 💕
I hope you will continue indefinitely!
it was me!! Cindy Smith...I mentioned it from your TV show and you also made your own chips in the oven!! Delicious..My family loves your dip!
I love you Paula, I'm so glad you're still making video's!!! Your sense of humor reminds me of the memories I have of my mom.
Paula I use to love a steak restaurant called Houston’s they had a superb spinach artichoke dip
There’s still a Houston’s in Plano, TX. That’s where I first tasted Spinach-Artichoke Dip!
FYI..they add flour and more different types of cheese..so good.
They tried to teach her how to take "princess bites"....LOL
I love spinach and artichoke dip but I'd rather make my own.
Thank you Ms Deen❤
I can't wait for the hot summer days. It's June 2 and here in Oregon I just turned my heat on.
That looks delicious and super simple! Thank you for sharing all these recipes, I have enjoyed watching them during this time. I really hope you will continue to make these videos. God Bless!
I remember Gordon Elliott always telling you, "Paula princess bites" LOL
You need a glass of water beside you when you take your first bite! That way if it too hot you can take a sip of water and stop the burn!
I had lost this recipe, so I’m so happy you’re doing this one today! We love this stuff so much! ⚡️💖⚡️
I would love to see you make chicken and dumplings!
I would, too! It's amazing how gummy most dumplings are and how many different styles of dumplings people make. Square and flat??? Ummm...no thanks!
I absolutely love your channel and your cooking style. There’s a lot of heart in every dish
I will still always love watching you Mrs. Paula. Food Network has NEVER been the same. ❤️
Do you use fresh artichokes?
@@Jen.E lol, i just made this 2 nights ago. I prefer the egg yolks over the cream cheese tho and never use cool whip, but yours sounds good too!
@@Jen.E oh yum...I can taste it
@@flamingsword777 yes that's the one I am talking about with eggs..!!!
Here I am, not even 10:30 am in Atlanta and you have made me so hungry for this recipe! Thank you for sharing. Sending HUGS, PRAYERS, LOVE, A SMILE and KINDNESS! 🌷 🌷 🌷
I will have to try to make this recipe with the ritz crackers. Looks Delicious & Something Different! Thank You Paula♥️
I love you, Paula! I'm really enjoying your quarantine cooking episodes! Thanks!
I would love to see all your pets! Love your beautiful home! 😃
Love you Paula! Im dying to know what diffuser youre using there on you kitchen counter. I always see it steamin away and over there and wonder what scent your using. Thanks so much❤❤❤

Okie Dickie artichokeie!!! My husband is going to be so EXCITED for this
We love spinach artichoke dip. We have always used the recipe on the Knor brand vegetable soup mix. Thank you for this. What a great alternative. 🥰
Hi Mrs.Paula,
Just saw your recipe and it looks so good.I have learned so much from watching you for many years. You are beautiful inside and out.And you take as big a bite as you like! Lol Love you from Nashville.
Make my day very happy how much is knowing I can get up the next day and watch a video of my favorite chef.
Finally, I now know how to make it! Thank you!
Are the artichokes canned or fresh and cooked?
Squash season is here and would love a really yummy squash casserole recipe!
Thanks PAULA!!! This dip looks scrumptious!!! SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU ON TH-cam!!! Have a blessed day!!!
Sounds like the Media. "A place were you can be consistently wrong and still get raises".
. lol
She said the weather person. If you (and Theresa) knew anything about meteorology, you'd both know it's not an exact science.
I would love to know where to get the measuring cups/spoons she has.
Melanie Kauma I bet it’s on Amazon!
I have decided that I wish Paula was my aunt! LOL!
If I have frozen spinach can I use that
I love spinach artichoke dip. I like to add lemon and garlic powder to it too. And sometimes use plain greek yogurt to replace sour cream. Like you said Paula, is that there's so many different ways to do this. Yummu
I just love me some Paula Deen!! ❤️🙏🏽
Is that all? I thought this kind of dip was so much more complicated. Thank you! I will be making this for book clubs and holiday parties 😃
I'm so happy to see this recipe! You're the best Paula
You know what isn't the best? As a man of color you should know that paula deen is actually a racist that used the hard R
I adore her attitude, the ambiance she sets, her compassion for cooking, and the stories she tells; I admire her and consider her as a teacher. She is human and she has a lesson to teach us.
Paula I made it added half of onion and garlic it was great ,,like I said you are a great lady ,,,lots of love from Canada
You're spinach dip looks so delicious I can't wait to make it look forward to seeing the rest of the new recipes that you'll be making thank you Paula 😄
