I miss Gloucester very much I live there from 1974 to 2021 we used to own a Restaurant across from Good Harbor Beach was Amelia’s Restaurant Gloucester and Rockport allways on my Heart Beautiful Places the best Seafood in the Country
I need to do this drive! It doesn't seem too far from us. That castle was so cool, and those little towns and shops are very cute. I'd gladly take one of those oceanfront properties too 🤣 The houses on stilts are interesting, haven't seen many of those before. Oh a brewery, a perfect end to the day. Two or three days would be great to explore the area!
Manchester-By-The-Sea... have you seen the film? Very good (albeit depressing!)! It was so cool that you could see the boston skyline from that pretty little beach 😍 All the places you stopped at looked great but I particularly loved the look of Rockport! Cheers to first brewery beer of the year 🙂🍻
you kids are adorable and make great tour guides. watching from canada , been to boston several times but always wanted to see that area of the coast...some famous place names starting in marblehead and i guess you could drive right on up to maine and kennebunkport and old orchard beach...all very scenic. thanks for your efforts
Really enjoy roadtrips like this and can totally relate to wrong turns being really right when you stumble upon something interesting that you wouldn't have seen otherwise. We would totally take any of those houses as well! 😂 What beautiful views 😍 Really love visiting towns that are filled with artsy people and all their beautiful creations! That lighthouse at the end was so cute! Great video guys! 😄
We are so on top of it!!! HAHA. Looks so Windy today! Wow that castle looks so cool! Too bad it is not open though :(. Love that the staff was the artist behind the nice paintings! Wow Downtown Boston looks SO TINY!! It's so nice not to see trash on the beach. There is a lot of trash on the beach here in Bali. Rockport looks pretty too! It kind of reminds me of Cape Cod. OOO cool light house! Thanks for taking us around with you! We really enjoyed the tour!

The mansions are so beautiful! They are very different from the mansions along the California coastline. I've always loved the east coast style of architecture. I'd take any of those homes as well, especially the one next to the castle! The drive, the boutique shops, and the brewery are all wonderful. I think I need to take a road trip out there soon!
So strange hearing names like Manchester and Essex in your video. They’re big places in England. The scenic byway looks like quite some coastal route though! Ben, “You need a pool and tennis court if you live next to a castle or it’s just embarrassing!” 😂 Those houses are dreamy with those beach views! 😍
This is such a beautiful drive! It doesn’t sound that far but we totally agree, we also find ourselves stopping at every view, cute town and coffee shop 😅 did the same with our cape peninsula tour. And filming also takes up a lot of time 🙈 Love all those houses next to the road with the beautiful ocean views! How great would it be if one of them was an Airbnb 😃 So glad you got to visit a brewery again 🍻
Thank you for teaching us how to pronounce Gloucester! We were way off! Those mansions were beautiful but, we would not want to maintain a house that big. I think the smaller stilt houses on plum island are more our style! Rockport was so charming too. The whole scenic byway seemed really nice and we see why you would recommend giving yourself at least a couple days to explore it. Glad you were able to finally get back to a brewery too!

It's so funny how we've never actually driven on the byway as locals to Mass. It's really beautiful! And the beaches up in the north shore are very nice. Lots of locals tend to surf in those neck of the woods. We definitely will have to go for a road trip there soon!

WOW, those Mansions were flippen stunning, especially right on the beach. Loved watching your scenic byway road trip, how absolutely gorgeous are all those views especially with all those cute little shops and love the colour of the shops, so vibrant and fun. We definitely agree with seeing the sea and then seeing a city skyline, absolutely stunning! Great tip to rather do the trip over two days to enjoy all of the views and things to do. From 3:15-4:17 we were at Niles Beach. It's just past Gloucester, MA. Hope this helps :) It's a lovely little beach.
