Don’t come to Salem in October. Just a tourist trap and the crowds and traffic are absurd. Come in the “off season.” You can still do almost everything there is to do in October, but there’s far less people and it’s cheaper.

I first visited Massachusetts in 2007 at age 13. My mom and brother lives in Massachusetts, my mom moved there in 2006 and my brother moved there in 2017. My parents got divorced when I was 2 or 3 years old, my dad got remarried to his 2nd wife (my step mom) whom, she has 3 kids that she cares much about. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters, I'm the lastborn girl child.
The state of Massachusetts is renowned for having a large number of schools and universities, including Harvard University, the country's first higher education facility (established in 1636). And the people of the Bay State cherish education: Massachusetts boasts the nation's largest proportion of residents with college degrees.

I was so glad to see #8 Concord MA on the list. The "rude bridge" where the first shot in the Revolutionary was fired. A serene setting a quarter mile from Concord Center. Nothing fancy. The beginning of a new country.
