I couldn't agree with you more. The Terminators in the original movies felt invincible, the chase scenes with the T-1000 still get me on the edge of my seat, knowing it's impervious to guns and blunt trauma of any kind. Only after a long, torturous battle did it finally meet its end purely out of situational circumstance (falling backwards into the molten steel). Terminators nowadays seem to be very easy to take out. Yawn.
It's pretty common for actors to be contractually obligated to promote and speak positively of the movies they sign on for, or at the very least be forbidden from saying negative things that might hurt profitability for a certain amount of time after release. And even when there isn't a contract forcing them, most actors know (or have managers that know) that even if they're being honest, talking badly about a movie they are in is a really effective way to make sure lots of directors and producers avoid hiring them for future projects.

Seeing the battles of the war is really cool, especially that opening scene with the attack in which we see Resistance fighters attack a Skynet facility(with old radar transmitter dishes as well!) I like Christian Bale as John Connor and Bryce Howard as Kate. I think It’s underrated as Terminator movie, considering the action scenes are practical effects!) Great War drama action!

I know you're gonna kill me for this, but I thought Salvation was okay. I wish they'd have kept it going from where that left off and it actually showed John Connor building the Resistance as it's leader. It was a lot more refreshing than all this convoluted time travel "future is destined/not destined" bullshit, if Terminator kept going from Salvation we could've had a decent series about the war and actually defeating Skynet for good.
It was enough for me to enjoy. Not good, but not more of the same new Terminator goes back in time just to fail. It was all in the future, and a difference from the same old routine. I wouldn't even count James Cameron as being able to do it right anymore.
I thought Terminator 3 should have ended it (6.5/10 is my rate). My cousins called me and said they will never see again. We enjoy Arnold, but Terminator movies do not need more. MONEY < MONEY is why they do.
Have to say, i don't agree with Ralph on Emilia Clarke. She's a terrible actress in everything she's been in - besides Game of Thrones. And i would argue, it's the strong script + the character being more monotone in her delivery and behavior, that allows her to slip into that role. But she has no range whatsoever. I can buy the idea that it's a bad script + bad directing, and not the actors fault. Because that's true in a lot of cases. But she's bad in everything she's in. So much so, that I really don't think that excuse holds up. Plus not every project she's in, has a bad script or director. She's been in things where the script or director (or in some cases both) were really good, and she was the only thing bad.
Emily Richards I agree, Emilia Clarke is a one note actress, and Sarah Connor isn't that note. The casting of this movie was obscene, as well as every other aspect of the movie making process....hack frauds :-)

I totally agree! I like Salvation. Seeing the battles of the war is really cool, especially that opening scene with the attack in which we see Resistance fighters attack a Skynet facility(with old radar transmitter dishes as well!) I like Christian Bale as John Connor and Bryce Howard as Kate. I think It’s underrated as Terminator movie, considering the action scenes are practical effects!) Great War drama action!

This movie was such a wasted opportunity. They could've not made it, and used its budget to make more seasons of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Although if they did that, we'd have a different Cersei, so I guess it's all for the best.

I know you're gonna kill me for this, but I thought Salvation was okay. I wish they'd have kept it going from where that left off and it actually showed John Connor building the Resistance as it's leader.
It was a lot more refreshing than all this convoluted time travel "future is destined/not destined" bullshit, if Terminator kept going from Salvation we could've had a decent series about the war and actually defeating Skynet for good.

It was enough for me to enjoy. Not good, but not more of the same new Terminator goes back in time just to fail. It was all in the future, and a difference from the same old routine. I wouldn't even count James Cameron as being able to do it right anymore.
I thought Terminator 3 should have ended it (6.5/10 is my rate). My cousins called me and said they will never see again. We enjoy Arnold, but Terminator movies do not need more. MONEY < MONEY is why they do.
Have to say, i don't agree with Ralph on Emilia Clarke. She's a terrible actress in everything she's been in - besides Game of Thrones. And i would argue, it's the strong script + the character being more monotone in her delivery and behavior, that allows her to slip into that role. But she has no range whatsoever. I can buy the idea that it's a bad script + bad directing, and not the actors fault. Because that's true in a lot of cases. But she's bad in everything she's in. So much so, that I really don't think that excuse holds up. Plus not every project she's in, has a bad script or director. She's been in things where the script or director (or in some cases both) were really good, and she was the only thing bad.
Emily Richards I agree, Emilia Clarke is a one note actress, and Sarah Connor isn't that note. The casting of this movie was obscene, as well as every other aspect of the movie making process....hack frauds :-)
She's only passable in GoT because her character is "stoic queen". Whenever she has to emotes its terrible... "WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS???"
Agreed. She can play one role well and that's it. Which is fine, if only they'd stop trying to shoehorn her into roles she can't perform.
