    I’ve followed her and her protocol for well over a decade. The one ((BIG)) point to ask Terry regarding her protocol eliminating eggs: she’s not saying all eggs are the same… correct? BIG difference between factory / industrial raised chickens/ eggs VS. farm raised chicken on pasture. This is my biggest criticism of her: as eggs has saved my health on three continents. Someone ask her to specify, please!!!

Keep that in mind if you’re a vegan, the book, the protocol. is not for you!. She does not present in this video that she eats some form of meat/ poultry / organs/every day. According to the book that I bought…. Obviously it worked for her. But those vegetables you see on that table are NOT the first thing in the Walhs diet!

      This is how gurus hedge. The problem is that MS is Lyme disease. Lyme eats us. What we eat is determined solely on our genetic and metabolic capcity to digest, assimilate, and activate nutrition. Lyme (and all of the wax jobs that they gave us) destroys those functions. So, if someone finds only relief in the carnivore diet that means that their protein digestion/assimilation pathways are intact. If someone finds relief in ketogenesis (starvation) then their fat digestion/assimilation pathways are intact. If someone finds relief in vegan diet then their carbohydrate pathways are intact. Anyone left becomes an alcoholic because that is the only thing they can burn for fuel.

      She makes it very clear in her book that eggs are not included in her program, which she originally wrote for her own healing, because she is personally allergic to eggs. She recommends that everyone give up eggs for the first phase of her protocol, in the elimination phase which is very strict, but eggs are one of the first things she says that you can add back in to see if you are allergic to them. If you have no symptoms from adding the eggs, then you are able to include them in your own healthy eating protocol. The same goes for things like legumes, nuts, and non-gluten grains. If you first clear your system of all of those things that may cause or exacerbate inflammation, then you can slowly add things back carefully watching to see if you have a reaction to them. But gluten and dairy are no-nos forever for people with autoimmune issues.

      The reason you are not supposed to eat these vegetables for thyroid issues is because it depletes iodine and iodine is essential for thyroid function. You have to eat a bit of sea weed to keep your iodine levels up, Dr Whals recommends eating sea weed at least once or twice a week.

    • @susannatuttapanna2010
      @susannatuttapanna2010 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you can eat these foods, but it's best to cook them first which stops them being goitrogenic. You can also eat them raw, just don't eat them raw all the time. You'd have to eat a lot to significantly affect your thyroid anyway. I'm hypothyroid and I eat kale, broccoli and cabbage quite often. Usually cooked but not always. It's never made the slightest bit of difference to my health. Neither has coffee. The one thing that really made a difference was ditching gluten.

    • @chantal215
      @chantal215 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      hi, i don't believe the diet is a standard solution for everyone, nobody is the same. You have to look at your own state of health and see what deficiencies or imbalances you have, the root cause of the disease etc.... As I mentioned above, this is the TCM approach, first step is always bringing balance back by diet, if this is not enough than you can use herbs and acupuncture to restore Qi (traditional Chinese medicine). In most cases, changing the diet is sufficient. So find urself a good Tcm practitioner (especially the pulse diagnosis is important) and you can go from there.

      I mean what do you have to lose, that medications isn't going to cure you, it's just suppressing your symptoms. You need to find the root cause of your MS and the root cause is usually nutrition and stress.
      Ease into it and see how you feel, listen to your body if you feel bad then stop and if you feel great then keep going.

    • @susannatuttapanna2010
      @susannatuttapanna2010 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      don't quit it, just do the diet as well if you think it will help you. medications that are for MS are clinically shown (proven) to slow down the progression of the condition and reduce symptoms. Diets aren't. Dietary adjustments could help too, but if you quit the medication, you're taking a big risk that your health will decline. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Once u learn how to cook veggies more lightly, U will soon love them. IMO, it's the boiled, canned veggies that stink. Also, try some of the interesting 'chopped' salads available. If they can't get that right, they need more research or this is just snake oil they're selling. There's something up here...

      Animal fat is good for you if it's from a clean source, the brain requires fat for it to function properly and bacon is a good source of fat, you're obviously not going to go around eating tons of bacon all of the time, eat it in moderation and you'll be fine.

The majority of the world who eats pork don’t get sick. The reason pigs are forbidden is a spiritual matter not a health matter. The animal is religiously impure, we know it’s safe to eat.
