Hey! Great job first of all! The specific tank you're referencing here (seen in the 7:45 mark) is actually my dad's tank! I recognised the markings but thought it's a coincidence. This picture was taken by him, in front of the National Museum in Beirut, August '82.

wow that is amazing the reference image featured in my video was your father's tank during the 1982 war. BTW what was your father's role in the crew (Commander, Driver, Gunner or Loader). I found your father's photo on Google images when i was searching for reference images.
I often use reference images when I'm making a kit to try & replicate the look of the real thing. In fact your father's image I based the look of the model on. Thanks for watching & commenting Alon :)

@@ShuttleFactoryScaleModels Really amazing! I just told him and he was very excited to see his tank brought back to life :) He was a company commander during the war.

Thank you it is always nice to hear someone else is painting scale models with the mighty paint brush. Now that is a nice selection of the M48/M60 Patton family in miniature, you have got in your stash. Good luck with those builds!

Came across this video just now. Very good model indeed. Two thumbs up for your wonderful work. More to come please, especially small scale armour kits.

Thank you Peter. There is more still to come in the armour kits. I'm just working on a video of my build of the Tamiya 1/48 Scale T-55 Main Battle Tank. In the colours of an Eritrean T-55 used during the 1998-2000 Eritrean-Ethiopian Border War. Hope to have that out soon. Thanks for watching.

Marvellous work. The tank and diorama base are top notch. Only adding figures could make it better. Happy modeling. Bill

Thanks Bill, sadly there aren't many figures in 1/72 scale of the IDF during the 1982 Lebanon war.

Hi everyone in case you are wondering about a few details missing in this video. Here are a few answers. First of all the Magach 6 is a modified IDF version of the M60 Patton MBT. The poster on the wall at the end is of famed Lebanese singer Fairuz.
As for the track detail, yes it’s very crude. The road wheels are moulded as one piece (instead of the twin wheels around the track teeth). And there is no track teeth detail, the tracks are bald. However I wasn’t bothered by the missing detail too much. If it was in 1/35 scale it would be an issue.
Anyway I hope you are all staying safe & are having fun with your model projects. Feel free to ask any more questions in the comments below.
    Cheers

Great job. The only one issue to point out is that the letter sign on the left side of the turret is reversed. The letter signs on the right and in the rear sides of the turret are correct. The letter is "ג" the third letter in Hebrew alphabet, and signifies a platoon commander's tank.
