He’s right it’s a purge on America and along with that what he saying we need to get those Republicans out of office that’s one step and the Republicans in every other state they need to vacate their seats and get voted out because they have an agenda and that’s every Republican party in this United States because they’re not for the black and brown people at all And as far as the churches go to TD Jakes and this pastor Coleman and even Rev. Al Sharpton and in that Muslim preacher they all need to pitch in for the cause and get out front and center because we only have one choice other than Jesus Christ and that electing someone in office desk gonna do something for the people and that Biden for America

Through our marriage I've learned to value spiritual people over religious ones... There ia a huge difference

Our uncles friend have some relatives that live in St Louis Mo. They said there is a church that have a grocery store inside the church. Also that church have a baby store and men store that sells clothing. A regular store. Sell women items too. It's all free of charge. All open to shop in. After Sunday worship. Open thru the week too. They say this church is located in Hazelwood Mo. Name of this church: " HOPE"located in St Louis Mills. And the grocery is fresh. There grocery store looks like a regular grocery store. Clothes all new. They say it's like you shopping at Macys Store. Blessings.

@pamelahenderson3166 Please explain how the Black church has let anyone down. People are the church, and the building is a place where we gather to worship. I tell people that if you're looking for a perfect church, then they should not show up. We're not perfect people, and God does not expect us to be. He has commissioned us to love One Another, which some find it difficult to do. Whatever God does for these prosperity preachers, He will do the same and more for us and more. We don't need the middleman to reach God.

Greetings to you 💃 in my opinion I grew up in church I understand that we are human and Mistakes will happen. I am disappointed in some churches who are leaders that speaks Gods word and who are not being truthful about their actions!
Authenticity matters and morals and values should never be questioned. Black churches have lost its core values and now what is being presented is false hope and its integrity is in crises .
Loving one another is beautiful it is the belief that its leadership should always lead by example not by what society says or what is trending absolutely not !
It is the responsibility of the Bishop , pastor or processor to lead authentically with an open heart ❤️ no matter what happens it is always good to understand the truth who is leading the church , not by what is trending or because of money only through God🙏🏾🌹💃

@pamelahenderson3166 That's why we must read, study, and know God's Word for ourselves. Church leaders can't save you, Obedience will, and God's grace. Church leaders are human, and some of them don't know Jesus. Don't be fooled by the person in the pulpit, so many are. If Black churches have lost their core values, then so have the people who are the church. God is our hope, not Church folks.

If you’re using it to say don’t marry outside of your religion how does that work? Catholics can’t marry Protestants that can’t marry Baptist that can’t marry Eastern Orthodox that can’t marry Jews that believe in Christ. They all practice the religion completely different but what matters as unar said is the common belief in god.
Jesus never prayed to his human body. None of his disciples ever prayed in Jesus name matter of fact Jesus taught them how to pray to the father yet Baptist pray in Jesus name and other denominations. Should I not date them because they do something opposite to how I pray? Muslims believe in god. Hebrews believe in god. Rastas believe in god. He literally said they all believe so why are we stopping ourselves from marrying another because their “denomination” is different. You missed the whole point and ran to the Bible yet the Bible doesn’t help you out in this one.

Using our money unwisely is the root of our evils. Collectively we have the money, but since we have been integrated into the dominate society, we would rather spend our money as consumers rather than being producers. The Nation of Islam has given us the blue print, but we have been so brainwashed to believe they are evil that our so called leaders are scared to even mention them. Do you see violence in their community? Do you see promiscuity in their communities? Do you see drugs in their communities? Homelessness?, homosexuality? Unemployment? No! So why aren't we looking at one of the few African American communities that seem to have their shit together? Do what you gotta do as far as education, job, hustle. Bring your own dowery/skills. By and large, a great portion of what Dr. Umar refers to as the “black church” is really nothing more than small business operations striving to become bigger business. The leadership is exploiting their congregants to make that happen. These people are seldom educated at the level of higher learning, almost no divinity training and probably have nothing to offer in the corporate sector. So they are strategically growing a business under the guise of whatever religion they identify with but have little to no biblical depth of knowledge. They pretty much preach the basics of the New Testament with the inclusion of a brief scripture found in Malachi (Old Testament), since it deals with the tithe. And for the most part, black people are falling for it!

Another thing no one is talking about is that when our ppl want to help our community by establishing organizations to help our community they are attacked by other communities, stating that our ppl are discriminating (not including other communities) even though these other communities have organizations that are helping them. Q: How can we resolve this noticeable agenda? I personally know someone from another community that was trying to help me put my child in a private school tell me that a friend of hers (their community) got their child in private school with the help of their community organization but stated that organization's funding and resources were only for their community. I was never given the name. Even when I called private schools I was told about the voucher program. I was told the deadline has passed and that they didn't know when the vouchers would be made available again. It's like everything is done in secret and or you have to know someone or be in their community bc they aren't going to give you a straight forward/honest answer. It's even like this for colleges - other communities (especially immigrants) are getting way more in scholarships funding & other benefits than those who are born in America. When it comes to our community if we don't include everybody, they won't let it happen even though they see our community is in dire need. How can we resolve this bc it definitely needs to be dealt with in order for churches and those who are in the position to help and trying to make moves to help our community?

Since we are the church, I guess we have failed ourselves. We have the greatest responsibility to participate in our own deliverance. Leaders in the church are held accountable to give us the information we need so we can apply it to our lives and help the next man. However, we don't even want to turn the pages, let alone pick up the book. I don't put no man or woman on a pedestal when it comes to leadership, but I'm keeping my eye on the one who created the tree, to build the podium that are so called leaders stand on. The failure is in us. Sorry to say that but we will not follow the instructions that lead us to an overcoming life.

I agree with Dr. Umar’s stance on most Black churches. I disagree with his stance on Black women waiting to get married because a career comes first. White women support our Black men before they become successful? Really? Our Black women are not the preferred choice of many highly visible wealthy Black men-or most men for this matter. Many Black men want the forbidden fruit. Studies and experiments have shown this time and time again. So while we-Black women date Black men who don’t want to commit to monogamy, are sexual hobos, abusive, on the down low, etc., we as strong Black women attempt to remain focused on surviving out here. The average Black woman has the drive for success. I really wish a woman would have been invited to this segment. It’s disappointing to hear a brother bashing the Black woman. Dr. Umar can talk the talk, but he’s wrong on this one. He’s definitely not speaking from the true perspective of the Black woman. How can he? He’s speaking on assumptions and he’s definitely not a Black woman.

@timothyjenkins176 I can relate. I'm a secular/agnostic Black man, and Black women are my preference. The problem is, most Black women identify as Christian or hold some sort of religious/spiritual belief. This isn't an issue for me, but my beliefs and views have been a problem for the Black women I've dated.
In my last relationship, I was with a devout Christian woman who couldn't accept my views. Despite my reassurances of not interfering with her religious beliefs, she often talked about not being 'equally yoked.' Even though we had a lot of chemistry, it became a constant point of contention. Funnily enough, the relationship ended for reasons completely unrelated to religion.
I'm at a point where I still want to date and marry a Black woman, but I’m uncertain if I can find one who will be accepting of my worldview. I might need to consider dating women from other ethnicities. Sorry for the essay! 😅

But to buy jets, high end cars, and other luxuries, NO! The role of the church is to basically guide you in gods word and offer fellowship and comfort when needed. Anything else like we had in the day is surely needed and those churches should offer that type of leadership too, but that's on them.

The church is supposed to provide spiritual guidance and teach members how to walk in God's grace. Religion has become a complicated twist of beliefs. There are major religions that have virtues of economic & religions domination. Dear brother, most everything you've said is small in thought. If you have the will to acknowledge new perspectives; you'll have a mountain of big thoughts. There are social dynamics that are outside of your purview. Your answers suit your thinking.

Thank God we are equally yoked and same doctrine. We don't and won't allow any brainwashing. I am blessed with a strong black man. Glory to God!

All of them are teaching falsehood and nothing is going to get right until the people turn back to the true Mighty one...YAHWEH and His son YAHUSHUA...and start teaching the truth!!!!
People open your bibles and read for yourself....red..yellow..black...white

Thank you Dr. Umar for continuing to pour your LOVE into the black community. My understanding of being equally yoke is, not being in a relationship with someone who shares the same religion as me, but someone who knows that GOD is REAL, no matter what religious path he is walking. The true is, we may be traveling on a different path, but the goal is to reach the same destination. Dr. U, your teachings compels me to look further, investigate and to seek the truth! Love you man...#fvicintheatl...

The man means 2 have the same belief, r how shall two walk together, except they r walking in the same direction. It's not the doctrine, it's the God u serve.

Saying we should marry anyone who believes in God is okay because we serve the same god, isn’t true. People serve the God of their understanding which is different for the Christian, Muslim, or Hebrew.

That lust of the flesh is just as strong in women as it is in men. I agree with u, but it's even more deeper than that. My young brother. Keep up the good work young brother.

That's why I can't accept the take-what-you-can-get " approach. The lust is the driving force, not the alignment of standards and principles. Lust will wear away, but the religion will or at least should keep it in tack!

Not being with another practicing Hebrew is just lack of having standards and a foundation.
