@@DerickSmith-r9b he never fought against the government that’s why he was nonviolent, what he did was he made the government honor the constitution that was supposed to be for all people, he gave his life, For his people, And honored God by following God given principles to accomplish this ,including (st. John 15:13) there is no greater love than a man who lays down his life for a friend, like God in the flesh the ,Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for undeserveing sinners like us, king took on a God like character, which God love, and God moved the heart of the oppressor,(proverbs 21:1-9 the King heart are President’s heart or any person in authority is in the hand of God and he turns it as he will, as far as Kings assassination that may look contradictory, king had already preached his own funeral, and his sermon I’ve looked over the mountain top and seen the promise of land.
I think all the civil rights leaders for what they did, But it’s been proven that Martin Luther King Junior was the most successful civil leader because he used God-given principles .
