Yes, kids should be able to play airsoft but one thing is if their mature enough to take a joke or to be honest when they are hit. for a example he last time i went there was this on kid that was dancing and mocking played movement IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME.
To add to the kids playing airsoft question. I was playing at a field yesterday and they had 2 groups of players. One for the beginners and one for the advanced. It really worked out well cuz I didn't have to worry about shooting up beginners who didn't fully understand the rules.
Yo Andy. This is Jacob, the kid that was interviewed in the video. Thanks a lot for featuring me. If you wanna do something with youtube like you said previously, Im down
this is an interesting topic because i think andy said a kid is considered 17 and under. yea thats correct on paper but what i think seperates it is maturity, yea you cant measure maturity but if i had to put an age on it id be 13 cause thats around the time kids stop crying from a little pain and also understand the saftey behind the rules implemented.
so i would restrict play to kids 12 and under. cause i had 3 occasions 1 at code red. where a kid under 13 got hit started screaming crying making everyone think he was badly hurt causing a blind man or something similar
Travis Macchesney not gonna lie I'm defiantly a kid as 13 but I'm a wimp honestly but airsoft just doesn't hurt way to bad I'm defiantly for kids even though I'm one sry if I'm biased
when we do our monthly private game we have anywhere from 5 - 10 under 18 yr olds. our youngest players are around 10, the only thing we ask our group to do is take the bang bang rules serious for the little guys as we are not trying to hurt anyone. Our kids play against grown men and not only hold their own but thrive on the field. at the end of the day when you have a youngling telling you about how he pushed and made an awesome play and you can see and hear how excited he is while telling the story that alone is enough for me to say hell yes bring out the kids. However I do know how the public games go, and some players just have zero respect for other people kids or not and will not think twice about wrecking a kid just because they can. At the end of the day kids are the future of airsoft if you want this hobby/sport to stick around you have to bring in the new blood and I believe if the field management is having problems with less experienced players getting wreaked all day then perhaps a split should be made so that the less experienced players can still have a good time.
Maybe they should toughen up and not be a pussy instead. Because its gonna sting a little bit, and obviously for kids its like a needle and they hate that shit.
I think its good for kids to play because its gives them a chance to find a hobby or learn gun safety and responsibility. (I am a kid ) I just love airsoft and ever since I've heard of it I've been wanting to go to a arena and play a game. its awesome that it resembles real guns and gives realness instead of real guns and shooting and killing each other
I helped kids while on the field by telling them where to go, where to cover, covering them, and if they need small things (knife sheaths, deadrags, tc) I would give it to them. I started when I was 14 and the older guys helped me a lot. However, 2 things, one, if you shoot at me, so matter how young, I will try to light you up, and two, if you violate the rules, no matter the age, I will tell a ref. Actually, one time, I was reffing a day to night game and I was helping this guy who got shot in the goggles and thought the bb went into his eye. So I call another ref to take him back to the staging area and I walk into a trailer(the map was a trailer field). As soon as I walk into this trailer, this kid runs around the corner and I take a look at his eye pro and he has safety glasses on (full seal required at the field) so I radio in that I’m taking this kid back to the owner. We get to the owner and he gave him the “you only got two” speech, and he goes to get the pair of googles that he wore before swapping out for the safety glasses. He comes back with fucking ski goggles with big ass slits in the sides. The owner tells him that he can’t use that. Then a guy from the field’s sponsored team gives him a pair of back up goggles to use. I know I had to be the bad guy and somewhat of a dick, but that kid could have caused a cluster fuck for the field.
I liked the vehicle game but once the smoke went off it kinda just turns in to force on force I liked the hidden walki game at og code red ware u would hide a walki and we could call in strikes I think the vehicle game would be better played that way thanks guys
You know i have less issues with kids being honorable, good sports than i do with grown adults. Many of the issues i've experienced or seen tends to be with 30+ year olds that cant take a loss and take the game too seriously. I'm currently 28 and i've been playing for about 10 years. it just blows my mind that grown ass adults cant handle being professional in a game. Kids are the future of our sport we need to support them and show them what it means to have good sportsmanship and make sure the others around you are having fun.
Thanks its cool that you let the little kids play, I couldn't find anywhere until I found your park on line now I can take my 10 year old to his first game play.
Kids can be the most fearless players on the field I always try to give the kidos props when they hit me it's just like anything els kids are a reflection of there parents shitty parents shitty kids besides its typically teenage kids I'd say 14 to 17 that are head aches there grown enough to understand the game and its rules but are also old enough to disregard them but even that is a vary small percentage of that age group
Thanks bud! I just wanted to make sure because, I am currently an 11 year old child. And I am actually kinda of desperate to join airsoft either way, lmao. But if I am being completely honest in all ways I think that I can handle the sting, and are mature enough to actually enjoy this hobby. That is only what I think, I just need to your guy's thoughts are tell me what I should do, or if I should wait a little longer before actually getting into this. Thank you for reading!
I may have an idea for a next video in the future if you are interested? maybe do a pros and con's on weapons and gear from players themselves and yourself (refs). I am always looking forward for reviews on gear and weapons so I don't have to buy them and then ended up not liking it. thanks code red!
I'm pro kid i played one day with a kid i think was 12 or 13 he was awesome I have video of him that I will post someday. They are our future. The pros 1. playing a sport the includes realistic look firearm toys and safety of a real will teach the the fundamentals needed for a real firearm. 2. playing with the big boys helps them build skill. 3. some are just great targets... jk. Cons. 1. Cheating. 2.Bad or and irgnoreat parents; not all young players have parents that play or even give a ..... about airsoft. thus passing the itinerants to their kid. all the child knows is its kinda like COD or GTA that mom and dad bought them not even knowing or caring what that is as well. Parents along with their kid need to maybe have a separate training, Teaching them about the sport and the safety.
my only policy for kids in airsoft is : if they arnt retarded in turms of weapons handeling, and can handle a bit of pain, (not to mention they call their hits and have some skill if any), Good, let them play.
Ima 13 yr old and I'm a regular at my field and after a few days of being shot I started getting kills I'm now know as the kid who can get more kills then retired military hpa guys
I started when i was 15, but i trained a lot before my first game. Like i watched a lot of videos, i red a lot of materials, i prepared my equipment, i trained the shooting, the moving and all this stuff (sorry for the bad english). And the first games i played alone, because i dont wanted to fucked up the others game. I wasnt a problem because im interested in these things, but kids under 16 i think they should have their own games, beacuse most of the people go play airsoft for the reality moment and what if there are kids. Kids ca nruin the whole game of like 20-30 people. "they should play because they are the future of the sport" in my opinion this is like lets allow kids go to the club because they are the next clients. Just there are things that are not for kids. Im still 16 and i hate this that there are things that are just not for kids. The best solution is games for kids. Kids will play with kids which i good, neither the big guys want to play with kids (my experince) and the kids are scared to play with the big guys. Kids cause a lot of trouble and airsoft is realy fragile sport. Even there are only big guys there are flipouts and cheating, imagine with kids. What is the point of introducing the sport to the kids but fucking it up for the other people. In the fields i play the big guys cause enough trouble. Just this is realy hard and fragile sport. The thing is it takes too much from the other guys to learn how to play while playing. I think not only kids shouldnt play games that are not for them, but everyone should train before his first game. Again sorry for the bad english.
I think kids should but it should depend, I am a kid and I am respectful taking hits and respecting rules and I don’t I don’t scream like a b**** when someone shoots me. If anything I use me being a kid as an advantage rushing up holding ground until the rest of the squad arrives
I had the problem when I was there with a kid that wasn't hit once and he cried cause a ricochet hit he wall next to him also giving away are position, not the kids fault kids of his age group will get sad and scared if its there first time but don't bring your 6 to 7 year-old son to an airsoft park. they will get shot and it will hurt and stuff happens.
I don't mind kids at airsoft places, I usually act like an african warlord and the ones on my team are my child soldiers, one time they fucked up my friend on the opposing team, i had 5 kids light him up lmao
kids like me should be allowed, IF they are not toxic. there should be a rule like if kid is toxic friendly fire on him is allowed. kids learn from their mistakes if they have a good punishment.
No, if your under 16 I'd say no. Little kids aren't mature enough to play a serious game like this, they don't understand the rules half the time, cry and get hurt more than adults because they can't handle pain the same way, that then makes people have a go at the player who made the kid cry, even if the player did nothing wrong. Basically, if you're not old enough to buy an airsoft rifle then you're not old enough to play
Peter Davies that's kinda unfair to responsible kids that listen to the ref. I'm 11 and play without problems. If I get hit by even a ricochet, I still call it just to be safe. Most of my friends do that too. When I'm at the field, the people I see being irresponsible are 45 year olds and soccer moms.
I'm a kid, so I don't care if you listen to this, but if kids my age (11) were not allowed to play airsoft, there would be no people that have time to start airsoft and it would die. A person who is 14 years old probably has so much homework, they they don't have time to play airsoft (unless they are irresponsible). They can't start airsoft. The best age to start airsoft is 11. 11 year olds will start growing and when they don't have time, they could just pause airsoft. Even if there was an age limit, not all people 18+ are mature enough. I've witnessed a lot of idiots at SC Village. Most of them were about 18 - ?. True, some of them might have been CODSofters. I'd say that instead of an age requirement, it should be anybody who is at least 10 yrs old, but can pass some kind of one question maturity test. One example of a good question would be to give them a non loaded M4 AEG without a battery. Monitor for 30 seconds what they will do with it. If they start waving it everywhere with their trigger on the gun saying "I'm the best. Bow down peasants!", deny them access. Maybe even do something, where when there is a customer that comes to the field a lot, don't make them do the test every time. Only make them do it their first time. Or even make adults not have to do the test. I think that California airsoft fields are the best right now, because they let kids my age play.
I'm cool with it, as long as they are honest players and call shots. If they are cheating and you have a game full of them, it would be an annoying game.
Yes, kids should be able to play airsoft but one thing is if their mature enough to take a joke or to be honest when they are hit. for a example he last time i went there was this on kid that was dancing and mocking played movement IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME.
Correct if only they know patient and integrity first then they learn about secondarys like loadout+rules
I’m 11 and have the mind and the honesty of a 25yr old
SPLASH DADDY lol my friend changed it
th-cam.com/video/0fPpUtJy8q8/w-d-xo.html not like this kid smh

Sad to not see my interview on here lol but it's alright I was in the game with the kid and that chopper gunner that weekend lmao
Thx Man U convinced my parents to let me great vid
Eric Oliveira but why is the first part of the vid have nothing to do with kids playing airsoft
I shot a kid with a Walmart spring pistol with a 400 fps aeg in the back 16 times and he told a ref and the ref couldn't understand what he was saying
Ya, because your shot him *16 TIMES* I'd say you caused that unless he wasn't calling his hits.
+CodeRedAirsoftPark What is your guys fps limit ?
It's 410 with .2's
Hi I’m over 10 (don’t want to reveal my age) and looking at starting air soft does anyone have any recommendations for guns to just demo the sport?
I'm 13 and want to get Started in airsoft but the closest place that I can play is over an hour away and no one can take me what do I do
Maybe get permermision from your parents first and maybe take a bus over.

Kids should be aloud just don’t cry when you get hit
can a 13 year old play with airsoft
Depends on the field
yes
Damn I’m watching this now that I’m 11 and am actually decent and just seeing how bad I did 😂
