This is one of the must see things on Phuket away from the beaches. Another popular place is Wat Chalong. It’s not far from here and worth a visit. Here is the video if you want to see more. Wat Chalong Temple Phuket Thailand - Beautiful 60 Meter Chedi th-cam.com/video/8XdcRF3148o/w-d-xo.html
The temple required permission to fly it on their grounds. As far as Thailand you need to register and insure it with the aviation authority. When I bought the drone here in Thailand I had to do that right away. I’ve seen many people flying without doing this but you run the risk of getting fined.
@@endlessjourneytravels thanks for the reply Even if we are leaving Thailand within 10 days then also we have to register drone if we buy it in Thailand itself? Because I am planning to buy DJI mini 4 pro there in Thailand So can I fly ?
@@musafirtravelust5921 check out this site. drone-traveller.com/drone-laws-thailand/ I bought my mini 2 here in Thailand. I had to spend a few days doing all of the paperwork online. You have to take pictures of the drone, serial numbers and send them into the government to register. It took a few weeks to get everything done. The difficult part was the web page was mostly in Thai. I don’t know if they have updated it since. The insurance was through a 3rd party and cost around 800 Baht for a year. There are a few places that when you buy it they take care of all of the paperwork for you for an additional fee (I was quoted 2,000 Baht but I did it myself). If you have the time to buy it here and do all of the paperwork then ok but the price won’t be any cheaper here since DJI does global pricing. You will be able to at least get the VAT refund at the airport when you leave. I hope this helps.
