    In this video I am sharing with you my honest opinion about the SGR train in Kenya. Is it worth it to take the SGR from Mombasa to Nairobi in the first class? Or is it better to choose the plane instead of the SGR train booking?

    Do you know if it’s possible to take a bike onto the train..?

    • @KenyaTravelSecrets
      @KenyaTravelSecrets  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Puh bicycles are not very often seen in Kenya for travellers. And the train really has less space...so this could be a tricky one.

    You mentioned there is public transport from SGR terminal to Diani. Is it direct or do I have to change? Is it possible to carry big lugage? How long does it takes? Thank you for your reply

    • @KenyaTravelSecrets
      @KenyaTravelSecrets  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this is there. It will take maybe 2hours (depending on traffic) for around 500 KSH (Dollar 5). One big bag is not an issue. When it is more I would recommend maybe a taxi

    Definitely plane. The security is so strict on the train. You can't have any personal speakers. It's silly. And no electronic smoking devices. I had to bribe a security to get mine back.

      ©hina Looted Kenya.
      My country built its own 1133 km (2× Kenya) in same price as Kenya, 4 billion dollars.
      It includes double lines, electrified, Broad Gauge, Heavier rails supporting Double stack containers.

      Actually the SGR was built at a cost of two SGRs. It's not China's fault. @@behrouzrezahatami6935
