I was jamming to this at 11 years old in 1983 when it came out on MTV. I think it was the first hard rock/metal song that got my attention. Here I am 41 years later rocking out to it!
I was training bodybuilding in the 90's, 17 or 18 year old, and we were constantly listening to Del Leppard in the gym. And I'm still listening, often walk with their t-shirt.

I miss the 80s! I can remember sitting at my friends waiting for this song or any Def Leppard song to come on MTV… MTV made weekdays fun while waiting for the weekends. Friday comes and it’s time for the local arcade.
I had a LOT of parties at my townhouse me and my friend share back then. That's when MTV was great and the 80s were.... especially the early 80s. Now society and most music is crap. 👍👍

They owned MTV with Photograph, this and Foolin! Can't beat that trio! Always felt they went full hair metal after Pyromania. Loved their early stuff! High-n-Dry? That's awesome stuff! So fortunate to have this music when I was 12, still diggin it at at 53! Haven't burned out yet! 😄
I recently bought tickets to their summer stadium tour, I'm beyond excited. I told my mom about it, feeling like I'm hot stuff.... only to find out she's infinitely cooler than me because she's been to several of their concerts. I'm jealous she got to experience the 80's rock/metal scene.

I prefer Pyromania over Hysteria personally, I took a break from GnR, Bon Jovi and GnR. I was listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin, Megadeth and Mötley Crüe which really soured my taste for more pop style metal, so I always will go Pyromania now
This is Def Leppard back when Rick Allen had two arms! What's amazing is that after he lost his arm in a car crash on December 31, 1984 that he was able to find a way to keep drumming! Drumming with one arm is insane talent! I obviously wasn't alive back when Rick Allen lost his arm because I was born in August of 2003 but I love lots of amazing rock bands from the 80s like Def Leppard! Def Leppard is amazing!

Everyone who grew up with Def Leppard would definitely know that it was after 1983 and before 1987 because back in the 80s when Def Leppard was big if there was a Def Leppard song everyone would always guess if he had one arm or two arms and pyromania came out in 1983 and hysteria came out in 1987 so everyone who grew up with Def Leppard would obviously know that he lost his arm before 1987 but after 1983 but anyways it's just amazing how he can drum with just one arm!

Thus why i move on to EDM and electronic music (well almost execute fully since a part of rock history is still left on me and my parentage).
In 1983 I had Pyromania (on vynil!) on a loop almost 24/7 until Hysteria came out. Both albums were game changers back then! So many bands copied the Lepps in so many ways in the era of MTV where the M truly stood for music then.
In 1983 I was only 14 year's old and I didn't listen to Rock an Roll till 84' - 85'. The first I heard of Def Leppard was in 87' and their album Hysteria was what pulled me in. I've loved Def Leppard ever since!❤️💋

I recently bought tickets to their summer stadium tour, I'm beyond excited. I told my mom about it, feeling like I'm hot stuff.... only to find out she's infinitely cooler than me because she's been to several of their concerts. I'm jealous she got to experience the 80's rock/metal scene.
Man, what a voice Joe Elliott had in the 80s. Not an easy song to sing with those high notes.

I prefer Pyromania over Hysteria personally, I took a break from GnR, Bon Jovi and GnR. I was listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin, Megadeth and Mötley Crüe which really soured my taste for more pop style metal, so I always will go Pyromania now
Led Zeppelin's most popular stuff can get that way, but the deeper you do e into their music, the better it gets
This is Def Leppard back when Rick Allen had two arms! What's amazing is that after he lost his arm in a car crash on December 31, 1984 that he was able to find a way to keep drumming! Drumming with one arm is insane talent! I obviously wasn't alive back when Rick Allen lost his arm because I was born in August of 2003 but I love lots of amazing rock bands from the 80s like Def Leppard! Def Leppard is amazing!
Yup Rick Allen had his car accident just 23 days after Vince Neil was involved in his car accident.

@@digodugThough i'll admit i hated what happened to *that* scene (culture, fandom) due to how long i'd been established myself so that still hunt and hurt me. Thus why i move on to EDM and electronic music (well almost execute fully since a part of rock history is still left on me and my parentage).

In 1983 I had Pyromania (on vynil!) on a loop almost 24/7 until Hysteria came out.
Both albums were game changers back then! So many bands copied the Lepps in so many ways in the era of MTV where the M truly stood for music then.
In 1983 I was only 14 year's old and I didn't listen to Rock an Roll till 84' - 85'. The first I heard of Def Leppard was in 87' and their album Hysteria was what pulled me in. I've loved Def Leppard ever since!❤️💋
