This totally FRICKEN worked! I’ve seen many hacks and I came across yours and it was one I have not seen. The artist in me said, “let’s do this.” My husband was skeptical, but, he said it makes sense. We both literally held our breath as we started to peel the tape off while whispering “it’s working…it’s working” as if screaming too loud would make the paint bleed. LOL After the final piece of tape came off we screamed so loud!!!!!!!!! It was perfect and so quick!!!! Thanks for thinking outside the box and sharing this.
Cali in the house! We are in the process of painting, with accent walls and getting bleedthrough. Super excited about trying this. Thank you thank you thank you!!
@@MrWatchOutNow it worked brilliantly! My husband was skeptical. He felt that it would be more work to do it that way so I tested it. I did one side his way, which was to re-tape the other side and to use brushstrokes away from the tape over where there was bleed through making sure to not brush in the direction that would push it under the tape, so I did that. On the other side, I used your method. A very clear winner!! On the first side, again there was bleed through to the other side. With your method, it was almost perfect! One little spot where I probably wasn’t generous enough with the first color. I have to say, “You rock!!!” Thank you 🙏
I rarely use tape because it never really worked out for me. It’s slower, and maybe not as crisp by hand only, but for me it’s better without the tape. However, I will give this method a shot next time I paint.
Victor what do you do if you don’t have any of the original paint to apply over the tape before the accent paint. I'm from New York and I enjoy your videos because you don’t yack endlessly before getting right into the “how to” part of the video
From Pennsylvania Found you on harbor freight reviews and subscribe. What is the name brand of the brushes you recommend? I am ready to paint. I just watch all your videos and I got the Avanti machine and the Wagner. I'm gonna tackle my walls first, then the front door and last the cabinets. I will be waiting for your cabinet video.

Thank you! From Hudson, NH
From Tampa Bay, now I know not to leave the tape there for days. Thanks for sharing 👍
I’ve had mixed results with pulling the tape when the paint is dry

I hear you. In apartments I freehand all over, but if we have an accent wall then I put up the tape.
London 🇬🇧 many thanks 👍
Well done.

You know what… I don’t know 🤷♂️ I’ve never dealt with that. But now I’m going to make a short video for you and figure that out 😁
