Thermo Fisher Scientist, Kristina Rucker, shares with Boys & Girls Clubs about the importance of women in science and her work as an analytical chemist.
i am in high school and i have a great interest in chemistry i put in 3 hr study for it once i finish high school i will be studying it bc the only reason why i go to school and study is the desire of being chemist but my parents discourage me to pursue my dream but thanks a lot for your advice
I believe noonday will be as efficient and better than these people who know what they like to study and importantly have desire of what they love , honey believe in what you want to be that's you and your people who are going to make A better world ,good luck.
That's good. Nice to hear that you're a Chemical engineer. When have you finished your degree? What was your routine during the classes? Did you pay any specific attention towards the practical side of the field? May i ask your GPA? It is not a good idea to ask about GPA in the 21st century which is an era of science and technology. We should focus more on skills rather than getting good grades. Good grades also help us. But unfortunately, the most of the employers also count on the reputation of the university, grades, extracurricular activities, communication skills and work ethic. Hope, you're doing decent with a good paying job working in the Middle Eastern or in the Gulf country.
Why do woman need to be represented? whoever wants to do the job sbould just do it. Just as long as you do it well I dont care about your gender or ethnic background, Just be proficient in your field.
She wasn't talking about the specific gender. Anyone can become an analytical chemist if he or she is dedicated. determined and curious about chemistry. She wasn't propagating the Gender Discrimination. All men and women are created equal. They both should have equal rights regardless of their gender, color, ethnicity or nationality. By the way, I support you opinion. There shouldn't be any gender specific career.
