    Cellophane is not plastic. It is a porous material that allows for humidity breathing, made from cellulose. It burns like wood does unlike plastic which melts and stinks. Many store cigars with cellophane on (like I do) to prevent damage from handling, prevent spread of mold (if there is any in the humidor), and prevents spread of cigar beatles (if there are any). Thanks for the cigar content!!

    • @bosbevok1539
      @bosbevok1539  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Actually the manufacturing of cellophane requires toxic carbon disulphides which can lead to serious heart disease and stroke. I am sure cancer too. There is no need to keep your stogies wrapped in cellophane. Cuba has been making cigars for 200 years without it.

I mostly use large weather tight containers to store my cigars. With Boveda to hydrate my cigars. Very dope collection indeed. I can’t wait for the next video!

    What a great collection. I have a collection of 30 something. I love cigars and i have some nice cubans, but mainly smoke and store cheaper but good cigars. I am swedish and i am also into snus. Funny how alike swedish snus tradition and cuban cigar teadition are! Since 1700 we had hundreds of snusfactories in Sweden but 1915 they where all nationalised into ONE manufactory. The brands dropped from hundreds to around 20 i think? Snus was still high quality until maybe 25 years ago when Swedish match (what i think) started to buy cheap tobacco and rushed the process, and did not allow the snus to age properly, to rush the sales. And they started to ad bad flavourings and they increased the portion snus formats. (Snus comes in 2 forms. Loose and portion)The quality became really bad. I was not happy and started to make my own snus 15 years ago. I bough quality ground tobacco. Like Virginias, diffrent Havannas and burleys. The process is not difficult. One mix tobacco, water and salt, cure it for 2-7 days in moderate heat and add a base, like potash. Whithin time i became good at it. There are oaceans of diffrence tasting handcrafted snus you have made yourself, with good quality tobaccos and proper aging, compared to the shit that is sold in stores! Very fun to make snus of diffrent tobaccoblends and experiment with diffrent curing times. A wellmade snus is like a nice cigar without the smoke. Nowdays i dont make snus as often as i would due to higher taxes on rawtobacco! Keep up the good work!

      @@bosbevok1539 The thing that is sold in stores nowdays are trash. If you want good snus you have to make it your own. I know they sell brands like General and Ettan in USA. Try it if you will, I suggest you try ETTAN loose. Its the best snus sold in stores, and is okey at best

    Thompson Cigars has a Platinum 12-Cigar Sampler for 34.95. I am considering buying it to try some new sticks, do any of these cigars sound good, and is this worth me buying? The Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Toro Maduro and Macanudo Hyde Park I have smoked before and enjoy the other 10 cigars are unknown to me.

      I believe that in the past they used to cover them, now some cigars come without the original band. I bought some Davidoff and they all came without the original band. I also noticed some online cigar shops added a note on some cigars stating that they come without the bands and only with the plain brown band. Governments shouldn’t be treating cigars and cigarettes the same when it comes to regulations.

      @@jase1239 I’ve done the humidors, electric fridgeadors, and everything in between. And honestly this is the best and easiest way to do it. I don’t care about the look I care about the experience of the smoking. And this way preserves it best.
