I am LIVING for this conscious consumerism shift we are having in TH-cam. I am sick and tired of constantly being inundated with new things every single day. I buy a palette and every TH-camr does like one look with it and then it’s “over” and nothing else is said. I love searching product specific videos where I can learn new ways to use my makeup because for a majority of us, we aren’t getting every single thing. We want to appreciate what we have and what we worked hard to buy and not have it seem relevant for a week and then never again. So I am all here for videos about “goodies but oldies” or using what we have. All makeup releases are seeming to be repeats these days. Minus maybe Indy companies but I’m not inspired by “new” palettes with the same warm browns and purples I have 30 times over. 😂
💯 that is why as of January i am doing a year long no buy. I tried this year doing a few months at a time and learned a lot about myself and FOMO etc. i am slowing purchasing for the last few months of the year too.
I agree so much. I am also not buying most new things, as I am with my collection where I want it to be. what I'd still mostly like are some more multichromes, but for these Ill be saving up a bit. I have all the colourful eyeshadows I need as well as other colourful make up (and yes, nudes, too 😅). I can also appreciate a good new release without wanting or needing to buy it. And I also am on board with finding new ways or inspiration to use what I already have. It's sad that tutorials are still bringing in so few views, but hopefully there will be more of this shift in consumerism on youtube and social media in general.
@@Linedhel yes!! I miss tutorials as well. I don’t know what the algorithm gods did to them but it was fun to see ways to create looks I had never thought of before with my shadows. I miss that creative part of TH-cam where it was less buying and more teaching.
@@chloedemure I am trying a no buy as well. My single shadow collection has been so much fun to “dupe the vibes” with and I realized through that process I actually had most of what was “new” coming out. Sometimes even better versions of certain shadows.
I agree! Well, except I’m a sucker for shades of brown, beige, and khaki, lol! Still, though, I’m trying to not get suckered into buying more neutral palettes 😅
I personally love GRWM, panning project, and shop your stash videos. There’s so much new it’s easy to get overwhelmed, even as a consumer. There’s something satisfying though about giving the makeup I already have the use it deserves
Totally agree!! So many new things, new trends before the newish trend is gone yet .. I am fine with what I have and just gave away 2 big boxes of stuff I have never used.. it’s the simple things in life we need and memories!
Yes, shop your stash Videos! But honestly I prefer when TH-camrs film themselves while they “shop“ their collections. If they shop themselves and just show us the product it is way more uninteresting to me. I just really like to see what their collection looks like and hear why they pick the products they pick while they go through it all 🤭
I would like to see a video where you do a tutorial of makeup look, focusing on the colors, and then matching it to different outfits. And talking about your philosophy behind it. I don't know, something that combines makeup and fashion.
Hannah Louise Poston has a great series where she shops her existing palettes and singles to recreate newly announced palettes. Sometimes she does the actual palette, sometimes she goes for the colors she's most drawn to, and sometimes she just tries to recreate the vibe.
Great idea! Im trying to do that with my collection, before to just look for the price, I see all my palettes like “ok… I like those colors in the brand new palette, lets see if I have those somewhere here”. And I always found that aith my 3 fav palettes (SoftGlam by ABH, thatsTaupe by Colourpop and MercuryRetrograde by Huda), I can do almost everything. And if something is missing,I tend to look into pencils, specially with the great color variety in my old (discontinued) Marc Jacobs and the current essence pencils
Yes, I love her videos and it's helped me find the passion to create my own palettes. I would love if Angie would start doing similar videos in her own style as I'm more colourful like her rather than Hannah.
I love the series Hailey does called ‘was that haul worth it?’ where she reviews everything she bought in the month the year before and give a review on each x
Wow thats a cool idea. I never seen to Angie as a haul person, but maybe she can group by seasons. I like so much the videos about “old holy grails” also. They’re super fun and you feel like you have a little treasure when you rediscover great products.
Maybe you can make a bunch of ranking videos with all the make up you own? Different, more creative rankings? I love ranking videos. In case that isnt obvious 😃
I absolutely love the "what I'm using instead" idea because that's been my mentality lately as holiday releases are coming out. The two examples that immediately come to mind are the Hourglass & Charlotte Tilbury face palettes (I literally still have/use ones from previous releases I DO NOT NEED another of each 😅) and the Pat McGrath holiday eye palette - even though she's never given us matte colors before, do I really need them? No. I have those colors multiple times over between Beauty Bay, Glamlite, ColouredRaine, and BlendBunny palettes. Definitely team #ShopYourStash!
To be honest I purchased the Hourglass Butterfly face palette. I’ve never had anything from them. I’ve used it every day since, no regrets, but won’t be collecting them!
Yay, more chatty videos are coming! Honestly, I don't care about new makeup, cause 99,9% chance its not going to be available in my country any time soon 🥴 I'm pretty sure that in this community we are here for you, your thoughts, opinions and your great sense of humour. And dramatic doggos, obviously 😅
As a project panner I think it's SOOOO important for people to monitor their makeup collection! Conscious consumerism is something I'm exploring too, and it really opens your eyes! I always love duping new colour stories with older palettes, and the amount of overlap in the market is crazy! They could be really interesting and fun videos to film?
I love watching your videos when you’re using items that aren’t new but just in your stash!!! Helps me with my creativity as well because I can’t afford all the new releases. I saw a video on Annette’s Makeup Corner where she used her stash to do a look that you could do with a newly released palette with colors you already have instead of buying the new one and it was great!!!
I have always loved talkie videos, like lists, reminding us about marketing tactics, or openly acknowledging petty complaints in packaging, etc. I'll happily watch whatever you choose to create. I also love videos where people talk themselves out of makeup by recreating it in their own collection.
I honestly enjoy your GRWMs the most and rarely come to ur channel for the new new! I started a low buy a few months ago because my collection was huge and I was spending a ton of money. Buying new makeup every week also impacts the environment in many ways. I imagine that my collection is a little beauty store every day! ❤ I love that you’re doing a low buy!
The haul/declutter cycles that are prominent on beauty social media was causing me anxiety. I entered into a low buy at the beginning of summer out of exhaustion and it's helped me enjoy makeup & skincare routines again. Hoping that your changes can bring you a kind of peace & satisfaction.
Idk if I'm the only one but I love watching videos including single shadows, you know like creating my own palette etc. I think it's so much fun, I hope you're gonna bring it back to your channel❤
It's great to see you taking care of yourself. 😊 Also, I would love to see a series (maybe 2-3 times a month) about what you're using instead of a new, hyped release.
I’m confident that you can do it. After all I decided to suscribe after watching your declutter and “opinion” videos. You are very eloquent and always have interesting things to say! 😊
Hey I’m happy to hear this, though I know it’s not about us. I would love to see more creative makeup videos. I feel like the cycle has to swing back to tutorials at some point. How are people not sick of the constant new new new, who has the money for all this!?! Well not me anyway. I hope this helps you feel more free to do what you feel like.
I couldn't be happier to hear this Angie, because what I love about your channel is to listen to your thoughts on the REAL stuff, not seeing first impressions on a mainstream neutral makeup. I cheer you from afar! 👏😃
I’m excited to see what you think up during this low buy!! Maybe make a video about best indie brands for difficult colors. Like: 3 indie brands who make lovely purples. Or top 4 red shadows in your collection from indie brands. This might be a fun way to highlight colorful things AND high points of brands you already know and love.
I’m excited to see what you come up with :) Christina Brooke has a series called “make up your mind” where she tries to dupe colourstories of new palettes with her collection, without having the new palette and then creates a look with her choices. And I think it’s fun, even more if you don’t want to buy the new palette but you want to get inspired by the colourstory :)
I found your channel when you were on your low-buy.🙂 I don’t mind you buying less and talking about other things. I just enjoy listening to you while doing my makeup, cooking, working, etc.🙂
I felt like I too was on a Hamster wheel, watching the same new products, reviewed across all the channels I've subbed. It works against this new economy and environmental conciousness. And as you said, creativity has been set aside, so has the appreciation of playing and techniques. I hope this change is successful for you and it becomes the near future of makeup channels 🤞 Thank you ❤This is so exciting!!!
I love the idea of “what I’m using instead” like a “shop my stash moment”. It can still be inspired by those new things but showing us how to get a similar look or result with stuff we may already have. I’d love to have these with fuller descriptions of the colors as they appear. Like, “this color in the new palette is a blue with a cool undertone, how you would find that blue with a cool undertone is…here are other examples of blue with a cool undertone in Not New palettes”. I like the ideas of “do these products that were old favs stand the test of time?” If you have any ideas or videos about how to find your undertone or your “season” id be down for that too. Seeing those combos on you could help us (even if we aren’t the same undertone or season) see some combos that work for those. Id love to see same products 3 ways type video where you do “no makeup makeup”, flattering subtle makeup, and full glam with roughly the same products, adding in a few more each time.
So happy about the low buy! I’d love to start doing this as well. Really looking forward to your videos. The hamster wheel really resonated with me. I think we have a tendancy to keep up with the Jonses so to speak and to challenge yourself creatively with your content too is so cool! I hope a lot of other creators follow your example. ❤
The timing of this is perfect. I'm starting on a personal journey to see if I can finish 100 products before buying newness. One day, I just looked at my "collection" and instead of making me feel excited or inspired, I felt stressed. Like, when is it all going to expire, will I ever finished it, and, most morbid of all, will my hoard outlive me? I then thought of all the things I wanted to do instead. Of what I wanted to spend my money on instead. I like the current shift towards thoughtful purchasing, appreciation of what we have, and tapping into creativity. Good luck on your journey! I'm excited to watch.
I would honestly love more videos of you bringing out older palettes (esp indie stuff like lethal or odens eye) and playing around more with them. most of us dont get new palettes all the time and seeing a palette being used in more than one way is so inspiring to create new looks.
I love chatty GRWM, full face of nothing new or what to use instead... it's relatable and it feels like sharing our passion of make up with friends! 👏👏
I am hoping you could do more looks from older palettes. You always combine colors so differently from others and it would be awesome to get new ideas on how to use palettes i already have 😊
I'm on a no buy, girl I have way to much for one person and the thing is I want to see it get used , nothing better than a well loved makeup product all dirty and almost gone ! I still like seeing new stuff ... I love watching you put together an eyeshadow look ! Reminds me of old school TH-cam...
Emily Noel did a few videos where she picked 5 Random Single Shadows to use for that days look. And did it a week straight. She came up with very beautiful and creative looks. Since you have so many indie singles you could do that by brand. I love the randomisation part and just chatting about some topics that interest you or life stuff while doing your makeup.
i would LOVE to see you doing more videos with your singles collection / shopping your stash and building your own unique color inspos and then maybe separate 3 looks videos with those creations. I really like the content that riffs off newer color stories or like "in conversation with" the color stories of new products and making them into your own version. I think the makeup community as a whole has gotten lost in the cycle of consumption and have forgotten that it's all about the art and self-expression at the end of the day, not the products that got you there.
I like your creativity. I still remember the monthly quads you did. Whenever I get in a rut, I refer back to that playlist and pick the quad of the month we’re in. You created that even before brands started doing these annual themes (stones, zodiac, elements, etc.)! I’m looking forward for the creative videos ❤️
Video ideas that I would watch from you! ☆using products that are ALMOST used up ☆using older products you forgot about ☆chopping block ☆shop my stash/seasonal makeup basket ☆battle of the [category] ☆Seasonally inspired looks, Christmas party tutorial, randomly selected two colors and build a look around it, etc
You can definitely do this! I can’t wait to see the content you create that’s not about all the new. I love your chatty videos when you talk about topics other than makeup. I didn’t think I could do a low buy. I bought over 100 palettes in 2020, 30 in 2021 & only 8 so far in 2022. I’m super proud of that & honestly I don’t even feel like I missed out on anything 💖
Would love to see a video on some old favourites you haven’t used in a while and do like the idea of a video showing what to use instead of a new release.
I'd love to see 'shop my stash' style videos or you can ask on insta to choose what makeup to wear, offering two or more options and then create a look based on the results of the survey. I personally love the creative process of building an eye look. Your creativity, chattiness and personality are the basic reasons why I like your videos. Don't stress too much on the new new, your hard work and creativity are always well appreciated 🥰
How about “if this were released now, would I buy it now?” or “if I didn’t get it in PR, would I spend my own money?” or “can I dupe the vibes of new releases with something I have?” Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
I love New Makeup Nonsense Bingo, HLP duping the vibes of new products, tutorials, discussions about which types of brushes you like for different applications, etc. If you have similar foundations, blushes, shadows, seeing comparisons would be great.
Honestly I’m glad ur doing this because the overconsumption in the beauty community has made me step away from it for the last like 8 months or so. I despise how much makeup I bought in 2020 and for the last year and a half I’ve only been rebuying products I ran out of or otherwise using what I have until the last drop. I have all the colors of everything. I don’t need new palettes, I can mix and match colors from different ones to create any look I could imagine, and I am not even creative enough to imagine that many looks.
I watch you for your creativity and humour. Honestly I rarely buy the palettes you review, but I'm always watching the looks you create! As others have mentioned, I appreciate the move away from consumerism, because loving makeup does not mean always buying new stuff!
I also get stressed and overwhelmed with all the new. How much makeup do I actually need? Not very much. All the new is just temptation to spend on things I don’t need. I appreciate your approach!
I agree that there is a stress level with all of the new products. I started watching these types of videos to relax, not raise my blood pressure!! That is why I enjoy your channel and your common sense. I do enjoy your sense of humor too, and the doggies and cat!
i’m excited for your low buy, and i can’t even put into words how happy you decided to do this, because i’ve been SOOOO overwhelmed and inundated with allllll of these new releases thrown in my face pretty much daily, and i just CAN’T anymore, and you doing this is BEYOND REFRESHING to me. samantha has also been kinda doing this for the past few months and i’ve been LOVING it as well. i know that you’re going to come up with some awesome video ideas. i watched hannah louise poston’s videos when she did her low buy recently and she had a ton of great videos, but you’re super creative and i know that your videos are going to be great, and i will be here watching each and every one of them. it’s going to be very interesting to see the total of how much you spend compared to other months. all i have to say is that you have all of my support, and i will be here with you all the way. love you, angie!!! 💚💚💚
I’m not a TH-camr obviously but I’ve definitely still been caught up in the hamster wheel of the “new-new” and always needing to buy the latest and greatest in makeup. It’s become quite a problem with my finances. I can’t even explain it because it doesn’t make sense except that I’m in a really bad habit of every time I feel down or stressed, I want to distract myself with adding something pretty to my collection. I have bought more makeup over the past year than I will ever be able to use, especially working from home and not having time or energy to do makeup every day. All that to say, I would definitely appreciate some solidarity with not buying every new release and some content to inspire shopping my stash, revisiting older goodies, etc. Thank you!!!
I really enjoyed seeing this look being created. I think a low buy is a great idea. It definitely gives you more time to enjoy and use what you already have. I personally love seeing old things being used and not just always the new things too. Bringing out oldies but goodies is a great idea.❤🙂
I inadvertently did a low buy this year. I realized that most new pallets would not add anything new to my collection. So now I'm buying things that add something new or I love. That left me at buying the neutral pallet from Glaminatrix and a couple of things from CP Halloween plus two lip liners. I may get a ND pallet at Christmas or some Oden's eye but that is it. Maybe Kaleidos I haven't decided yet.
I found you years ago because I just couldn't get enough of your tutorial videos. I learned so much more about exercising new creativity, not necessarily needing to have the new items. I miss those days of YT and I hope more beauty YT leaders like yourself guide us back to that trend. Thanks for all you do and for your ethical consideration of the impacts of your content.
Angieeeeee I hope this change brings you inspiration, joy and some renewal. Plenty of times I personally watch your videos more to get inspiration for makeup looks and hear what you gotta say, and sometimes I end up loving how a product looks on you and how you describe it and add it to my cart. Of course I love dedicated reviews on releases of certain brands, but I just get so inspired by your makeup techniques and ideas, it makes me go out of my comfort zone ❤❤❤❤❤
I love watching videos with old products. I also like seeing tutorial videos where the same or older pallets are used. I hate when something comes out, and you see one video per creator and that is it.
I had a little bit of a falling out with make up a few years back that led to a massive declutter in the beginning of the pandemic. I just reignited my love for make up earlier this year and it has sent me on quite the hauling spree, replacing the things I had gotten rid of and filling up gaps in my collection. After some accounting, I realize I have to hit the breaks a bit. Thank you for reminding us that we all could save some money and take the time to enjoy make up we already own! Looking forward to seeing how you’ll get creative on your low buy ❤
I am loving the idea of like a round up of what’s new and what you’re using instead or what it reminds you of that people might already have in their collection!
Love this Chatty video and the dog snoring! Love the look and I love when creators do looks with makeup that’s not new! Save us all some money and pressure to buy buy buy! I’d rather enjoy what I already have and enjoy more creative ideas with just that!💜🌈💜
I love being inspired to re-purpose and re-invigorate the items i am already blessed to have. obtaining new tips, tricks, and using past eye shadow palettes with looks not done before sounds really fun to me. Thank you for going "low", I could definitely take a trip there with you! Take care!
I love that Atari's favorite spot with you under your desk by your feet. My dog Yuki also prefers the space under my desk when I'm gaming or whatever. I take it as a huge compliment b/c she'd rather be on the carpeted floor next to my feet than 5 feet away up on a couch or in her bed, it makes me feel so loved. 🥰 Also, I fully support your low buy and whatever you want to do to lower stress levels! I find myself easily caught up in all the new makeup that it's probably a good idea for me to do a low buy as well so perfect timing! Can't wait to see how your creativity flows in your upcoming videos!
This time of year is even more stressful for most people. All the obligations & extra expectations of the holidays get piled on top of the obligations we already have, plus the stress of meeting the expectations/aspirations of holiday cheer/gift giving vs our financial capabilities. I feel overwhelmed by the inundation of holiday products released this time of year & tend to disengage from it out of mental health self preservation. I imagine for many people The Holidays is a mine field of triggers they must circumnavigate.
Share stories about your time as a model. I also love the “behind the make-up vail” that gets into where stuff is made, how much are brands actually worth, how did Patrick Star get into Sephora, and that stuff…
I love pan and stash videos. I also loved the monthly quad you did a few years back, showing how to use unusual colour combinations. I'd be happy to see that back.
I also like the idea of, “I’m using this instead of…. “. If there’s a new palette, maybe you have a similar one to use instead. Or, if there’s a palette you don’t want, but you love looks you see posted with it, you could do a video “inspired by…” and recreate looks people are doing with the new palette, but with products you already have. Challenge yourself to recreate as close to that look as you can. Or dupe the vibes of a new palette and do a look with those shades.
A “what I’m using instead” would be amazing! I’m trying to buy less also. Hannah Louise Poston does dupe the vibes videos which also help. I have amazing makeup in my collection and I want to see new makeup as inspiration to use what I have in ways I might not have thought to use them before. And if I love it and can’t dupe it then maybe I can buy it
I think you can do whatever you put your mind too i don’t think you’ll have any problems not purchasing makeup you don’t really want! I love how you do your eyeshadow it’s always beautiful!
Angelica, comparing is good business sense. It's important in making adjustments in order to see if where you are going is getting you the results you want. Moreover, is it contributing to your creativity? I think it's terrific hearing you talk while you try on different make-up looks! Thanks for the fun and cool content.
I’d like if you did more of shopping your stash or ranking videos. There’s always new stuff coming out, but a bunch of us would love to just appreciate what we have! Thanks for all that you do!
I just love watching your channel for you as a person. I find you so relatable, your accent is very relaxing to listen to, and when you give reviews you’re very informative and capture multi-chromes shifts the best. I’ll watch your videos regardless of if it’s new stuff or not.
Low buy means more thought and less waste. So I agree with you. One kind of videos I love is Shop my stash but not for a period but just for a makeup. Why not making videos like: I have a meeting with a HR for a new job. What would I choose and why for my makeup? Or why do I believe the specific shade of lipsticks goes with this shade of blush or eyeshadow look? Let's play match together. I would watch it trying to understand if it suits me and I can replicate. I hope I helped.
I’m excited for your new idea! I enjoy watching videos using products from their stash. Or duping new palettes using shades you already own. I always mix palettes I already have for one eye look. No single palette has everything you need. At least in my experience.
I absolutely LOVE shopping my stash videos. I have alot of makeup thats not as new and love seeing those things being reused. Love your videos and people are still going to watch even if it's not new makeup. Xoxox
Content ideas: -deep subjects(philosophy/music/travel) /GRWM -object appreciation/GRWM (example:saw this cool rug and the colors inspired me to do this look) -Designer Inspiration/GRWM (painter Jackson Pollock inspired me to do this look) -time period appreciation/GRWM (60s Woodstock look I would do if I lived back then and was going to the concert) Just some brainstorming…seriously I just love your style of mixing colors…tutorials are ALWAYS a favorite!!! 🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
I absolutely loved seeing you do Samatha’s makeup. It was so lovely to hear you guys talk to each other, but also see the look you created on someone else. I don’t know if you’d be able to do other people’s makeup for videos, but I bet videos like that would be popular.
Yeah I feel you. As a consumer who’s spent way too much money on makeup this year, I’m also starting a low buy. It’s really hard to see new videos (don’t even get me started on how much tiktok pushes people to buy, buy, buy all day long) and the new products coming out every week can really become overwhelming. I now have a huge collection that I need to start using, otherwise I’ll be swimming in expired makeup that I can’t use in about a year. I really need inspiration from creators to start dipping back into my stash and using the products that I’ve payed for. It’s gonna be exciting sharing the journey with you Angie.
A couple videos I really like to see that don’t require new makeup are 5 best products from a specific brand, and ranking certain categories of makeup like “ranking all of my cream blushes”
I feel like there are several of us (us being people in Samantha March and your comment section) who are wanted to focus on what we already have in our collections and are looking forward to videos to help us feel inspired by our own collections. During this video I decided to pull ten eye shadow pallettes from my collection that I want to focus on for the next month.
Your declutter videos are so relaxing to watch, but also interesting to see how you decide what stays. Maybe videos in that over head view showcasing parts of your collection or swatching? Or videos pairing palettes together? Also videos critiquing new makeup but using photoshop to show what you change about it the products? Anyways, I'm sure whatever new ideas you come up will be great.
Hi! I bought some palettes this season and yeahhh the money goes fast! What I would like to see is a video(s) to inspire myself with formal and informal looks for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with the palettes I bought recently. You could do it with your favorite palettes and hopefully that will give me new ideas.
Agneshka I watch your videos for you and your personality , not for makeup reviews per se. Just enjoy listening to you chat about what you enjoy , or techniques or about things that didn't work out. So I'm all for the low buy
This upcoming content is so exciting!!! It’s exactly what im gravitating more towards - conscious consumerism! Can’t wait to see all the fun and creative videos you come up with!!!❤
I think the way you're breaking it up into quarters is very smart. The last thing you need it to be stressed about the thing you're doing to try to reduce stress. I'd like to see a video where you find dupes within your makeup collection. Like, do you own 2 of the exact same thing without realizing it. Might be hard since you recently decluttered for the move though. Hope you're doing well!
Great idea! I have way too much makeup, taking up too much space. I don't need any more stuff period, lol. Clothes, perfume and shoes.I buy gifts in December.
Maybe a swatch party of your favorite eyeshadows would be a great video idea. Or multiple videos and have different categories like shimmers, mattes, duo and multichromes. Or even favorite blues, greens, etc.
I love tutorials and PR hauls followed up with actual reviews of the PR hauls so we know what’s truly good and how to use it. I’m very comfortable with makeup but I love being inspired by watching tutorials. I have a TH-cam makeup collection and I’m enjoying using my different palettes instead of just looking at them when I re-arrange them and de-clutter. Love watching you and your positivity and upbeat videos. You’re the best.
I loved watching you during your low buy last time because it made me not feel bad when I couldn’t afford to keep up. Which like who can but trust me I try to it’s bad so I’m excited
I'm very excited for the low buy content! I'd love to see some videos reacting to past favourites like you did I think last year when you talked about whether your faves from the year before were still faves. Or maybe reacting to an even older favorites video (if you're comfortable with that) or old makeup releases, old holiday releases, something like that :) Love the look, too!

Hi Tesla! I would love to see a series of shopping stash for dupes of the new, because I have difficulty realizing that I own something similar! And this is a breath of fresh air, Angie, I’m really looking forward to it!
I’d like to see a palette revisit series where you do new looks with old palettes. Maybe pick like 2 palettes randomly and do a look using both I like palette bingos too, and I like to hear about old favorites and do you still use them. Shop my stash videos, products I forgot I own. Products you’ve changed your mind on
I love when creators do this...mainly because you all give me more eideas for the pallets you've incised me to buy already...AND we get to see the best of the best by which ones you use more often
I am LIVING for this conscious consumerism shift we are having in TH-cam. I am sick and tired of constantly being inundated with new things every single day.
I completely agree
Yes, shop your stash Videos! But honestly I prefer when TH-camrs film themselves while they “shop“ their collections. If they shop themselves and just show us the product it is way more uninteresting to me. I just really like to see what their collection looks like and hear why they pick the products they pick while they go through it all 🤭
I would like to see a video where you do a tutorial of makeup look, focusing on the colors, and then matching it to different outfits. And talking about your philosophy behind it. I don't know, something that combines makeup and fashion.
I would love if videos like that gave me views but I know from trying similar things that those kinda videos don’t work on my channel 🙈
Love this idea! Would love to see this!
Yes, I love her videos and it's helped me find the passion to create my own palettes. I would love if Angie would start doing similar videos in her own style as I'm more colourful like her rather than Hannah.
One of my inspirations to actually use up my makeup and not buy more!!
Yes!! She calls it “duping the vibes” and it’s one of my favorite videos of hers to watch. I would love to see more TH-camrs do this type of videos
I love the series Hailey does called ‘was that haul worth it?’ where she reviews everything she bought in the month the year before and give a review on each x
Agree. I love that series by Hailey O. Her expression when she holds up items that she purchased and then never used or forgot she even bought.
I really like this series too !
Yessss I love ranking videos so much. Battybean does a lot of them and I love it
@@steampunk5123 Thanks, I will check it out!
Yesss omg like top orange blushes, nude lips, cream products, etc. Loooove me some ranking videos ❤
@@brendatorres1072 🥳
Honestly, I don't care about new makeup, cause 99,9% chance its not going to be available in my country any time soon 🥴
I'm pretty sure that in this community we are here for you, your thoughts, opinions and your great sense of humour. And dramatic doggos, obviously 😅
Oh same here!!! Takes forever to get here in NZ!!
Agreed
Yes!
I’m excited for this. Hoping it’ll rub off on me ♥️
The haul/declutter cycles that are prominent on beauty social media was causing me anxiety.
Ooh I love this idea, cause we know Angie has an extensive single shadow collection that we never see lol
Same this is how I actually found her! 😊
I like the ideas of “do these products that were old favs stand the test of time?”
If you have any ideas or videos about how to find your undertone or your “season” id be down for that too.
☆using products that are ALMOST used up
☆using older products you forgot about
☆chopping block
☆shop my stash/seasonal makeup basket
☆battle of the [category]
☆Seasonally inspired looks, Christmas party tutorial, randomly selected two colors and build a look around it, etc
How about “if this were released now, would I buy it now?” or “if I didn’t get it in PR, would I spend my own money?” or “can I dupe the vibes of new releases with something I have?”
Love from the spooky Pine Barrens in NJ
Tbh I don’t watch your videos for reviews on makeup. I watch bc I love your personality and you cheer me up. It’s like hanging out with a friend.
This sounds good! Could you please make more videoes where you shop your stash? Would be Nice to follow ❤️
I would love a bunch of Hela palette GRWM videos! I would love fall/winter inspo on that palette!
I like this! It bothers me when influencers push shopping and say “YOU NEED THIS!” Or “Run to pick this up!” We really don’t need much…
I really enjoyed seeing this look being created.
I like the idea of a video of what you're not buying and what you're using instead to get a similar look.
Lead the waaaay, Angie!
Take care!
Good morning Angie! I read the title and was like, yuppers, that's exactly how I feel! Lol Thank you for this video🙌😊💜💚💙
Also, I fully support your low buy and whatever you want to do to lower stress levels!
Looking forward to see the comparison. The nice thing with watching people that is mindful about what they spend is to see what they prioritise.
And if I love it and can’t dupe it then maybe I can buy it
I absolutely love your chatty grwm!!! I'm living for this look!!!
Video idea! Choose a pallet you like, but don’t love and make 1-3 changes to it that makes you love it.
I think you can do whatever you put your mind too i don’t think you’ll have any problems not purchasing makeup you don’t really want! I love how you do your eyeshadow it’s always beautiful!
I really enjoy "what I'm wearing instead" or "duping the vibes" videos"
Xoxox
Content ideas:
-deep subjects(philosophy/music/travel) /GRWM
-object appreciation/GRWM (example:saw this cool rug and the colors inspired me to do this look)
-Designer Inspiration/GRWM (painter Jackson Pollock inspired me to do this look)
-time period appreciation/GRWM (60s Woodstock look I would do if I lived back then and was going to the concert)
Just some brainstorming…seriously I just love your style of mixing colors…tutorials are ALWAYS a favorite!!!
I've been on a low buy/no buy for a couple months now and I love it. ❤️
I always love the pet appearances! ❤🐾❤️
Also New Years… and the more mundane Halloween party
🥰😍🤩🥰😍🤩🥰😍🤩your brows do look great!!, I love variety in videos and no new product videos inspire me! ❤❤❤❤❤
Which like who can but trust me I try to it’s bad so I’m excited
so excited! I LOVE "what I'm using instead" videos
Maybe pick like 2 palettes randomly and do a look using both
I like palette bingos too, and I like to hear about old favorites and do you still use them. Shop my stash videos, products I forgot I own. Products you’ve changed your mind on
I love when creators do this...mainly because you all give me more eideas for the pallets you've incised me to buy already...AND we get to see the best of the best by which ones you use more often
