They're Pakora not fritters, trust me i'm a Brit. Even the Indian lady clearly stated it was a pakora. Outside of India Britain is the place to go for Indian food, Indian restraunts and take aways on almost every corner.

Kadi/Kadhi has its origin in Rajasthan. And then it travelled across Sindh. Just because you make it a certain way does not mean, hers or anyone else's is wrong. Food evolves every 10 kms, even in the same state. There is no authentic recipe for any dish, it just cannot be. A Punjabi person making Kadi is as authentic as a Rajasthani person or a Gujarati person.

Authentic food has nothing to do with recipes, it has everything to do with the people who are making it. In Food, authenticity has no practical impact because food, like culture and education evolves. Once something evolves, you cannot anchor it to anything, and hence food cannot be anchored. No human being is perfect. Neither you nor her nor me. She is working hard. And that is as good as it gets except for the fact that you're being an absolute crass person. You chose to push your empty perception on a person who chose to work hard, this is a classic 'sharma ji ka beta syndrome' and you're no less than the neighbour uncle trying to create indifferences among cultures where you can just choose to promote positivity.

This is a video put on a public platform based on someone whose claim to fame is authentic Indian food but does not use the authentic nomenclature for an Indian dish.
So a viewer putting facts bluntly is also something she has to respect and accept.
How many Japanese Sushi chefs would alter the names of their dishes to suit the misinformed sensibilities of Westerners? Most likely zero. And hence the Japanese are respected and their chefs treated like culinary royalty. We have to first start respecting ourselves and our culture before expecting it from others.
I need to start one more stall next to her's to show what's actual authentic indian food is..... Sadly westerners still believe it to be Authentic.... 😂
