It wasn't even a gliss, it was just a perfect, amazingly precise and incredibly fast chromatic scale up the entire range that most amateur players have.
BRAVO!!!! I've been trying to get my chops back for 2 years now.. and I would glady trade getting my double As back to sound that good in the low to hi c register! amazing..
Ik right? it's definitely not the traditional half valve gliss but if i ever have a solo with a gliss in it i'm 100% going for a chromatic run instead of half valve.
As a player of 8 years I am in the middle of a chop identity crisis and I’m trying to find my perfect chops, I would say I am a decent player and I could play these rhythms but even if I found my perfect chops i could never be this smooth
My friend told me I have pretty good middle range, especially when I play solos in particular, so I will definitely try this one out! And that is some very smooth trumpet playing there too!
That was really smooth, also a title is a title lmfao, you must not play trumpet to realize that playing those licks are difficult to do smoothly like he did
It’s not a stupid title. You might not agree on the accuracy of the title, but the title itself is not stupid. It got you to click on it and watch, didn’t it? Maybe you feel stupid for “falling for it,” but then that makes you the stupid one, doesn’t it?
idk why so many people are hating on the title, as a trumpet player of 10+ years this is crazy smooth
It's because he's not playing into a $500 microphone with reverb smeared all over it
Because this is borderline stolen content
The glissando was so smooth, wow.

As the title of the video describes it.... he played it smoothly. Good Job chap!

Elmer Churampi is such a playing inspiration for me, dudes tone is incredible

elmer churampi has one of the best tones out there. even from a phone mic during a loud concert, he's makes it sound amazing all the time
Recognized Elmer’s playing within a few measures 😂 what an amazing sound he has
the chromatic scale oh my gosh that was beautiful! amazing job!

Is there any chance you could transcribe the rockwall marching band sax solo for this year? Whenever a good recording comes out.

HEY I KNOW NOCOMMONSENSE 😱😱
I love my music in 100ish-tempo... and it's only a suggestion! :D
What song is this
Sabor a Mi by Eydie Gorme
Elmer churampi?
I wish the Matt trumpet coach simply did videos like this. It'd be a lot more convincing and less disruptive.
Bruh what kind of cornet mouthpiece are you using to get a tone that dark?
What if it’s a flugel 😱
Elmer Churampi everyone!
100 ish😂
as soon as I saw the song title I was like “eh no way this dude’s will sound better than Elmer’s” lol
The key isn’t Bb it’s F but nice job
nope!
Wrong key sig
🤓
Seriously? The smoothest? LOL
Seriously, did you not here it?
That was really smooth, also a title is a title lmfao, you must not play trumpet to realize that playing those licks are difficult to do smoothly like he did
far from the smoothest but nice effort
Bood claim, and wrong. It's good though. Still, downvote for making the title stupid
Thanks for the compliment!

Fr, like who said you could grade his video based on your opinion.
@@Mih4m- so true. Respect

This is average at best….. there’s much much better out there…..
Why do you think its average? I was vibing to it lol 😅
You’re easily pleased….. I’ve heard much better….. by many many players
Well aren’t you just a pretentious little keyboard warrior who thinks he’s a trumpet connoisseur? Your tastelessness is showing.
mind sharing some of your favorites?
Go play this then
