      I think he only becomes overrated when people try to call him the GOAT safety over Ronnie Lott (which some Steelers fans have done). Overall, though, he’s a fantastic player that has a great argument as a top 2 safety all time.

    Thoughts on Matt Shaub. I personally think he was an underrated QB that is unfairly maligned for one bad year in 2013 that wasn't completely his fault, and brought the Texans respectability at the QB position for 6 years in his time there. His 2009 season was also pretty damn good despite a crappy run game to support it. He'll always be the Houston areas best QB since Warren Moon though, especially after Deshaun disgraced everyone in the organization the last two years. I do hope Davis Mills can make a giant leap in year two.

      @Fries Deshaun's 2020 is the best statistically but the team was in disaray. But Schaub's 2009 was not only the best at the time, it's still the most important season for a Texans QB because it ended in the first winning season for the team, and he would have 2 more 4000 yard seasons. It signified the Kubiak era with respectability and proved the rebuild that started in 2006 was working. Especially since under his guidance, he got us to the playoffs twice.

      The Colts are good but the last two years they’ve been predicted to win the AFC south and the my Titans have won the last two years. But this year the Colts are again predicted to win the south over the Titans and I don’t know why I mean I know losing AJ Brown sucks but I still think we’re a great team. We have a great Coach and a decent defense and a solid QB and the best running back in the NFL. I think we should win. But good luck to the Colts.

    • @king_supreme1102
      @king_supreme1102 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think it depends on who you ask tbh. I think most non colts fans don’t think too much of them. The media does give them hype tho, which I think mostly comes from them being a balanced roster. You look around the team and not many weak areas, so most people say they’ll be really good. I don’t think they’re really that overrated tho tbh. 2021 was the first real disappointment. They weren’t good with Jacoby but he obviously wasn’t a good starting QB, Phillip led them to 11-5 and nearly upsetting the Bills. It’s really just the Wentz year where they blew it. 2022 is gonna determine how good they really are. I mean most teams don’t lose their franchise QB out of nowhere, considering that situation they’ve done relatively well after it.

      It’s a really intricate joke about the way that people talk about white athletes versus black athletes. White athletes are called “gritty” and “hardworking” and sometimes referred to as people “you’d let your daughter date” (hence the cooper kupp jokes). For black athletes, they’re often called “hard hitting” or “aggressive” or “dominating”. This joke makes fun of the way white athletes are characterized more positively that black athletes, despite black athletes being just as hardworking. If you watch his videos, you’ll see he only makes these jokes towards white players.

Obviously in Miami he was a world class player and MVP and even though he has had some injured seasons in New York he has been absolutely incredible when he stays healthy. I feel as if the injuries have led him to become very underrated since the trade to the Yankees. He was great in 2018 and was incredible in 2021 and is looking even better and healthy here in 2022. Him and Judge absolutely carry the Yankees on their backs at times and I feel as if Stanton doesn't get enough respect overall, hoping he makes the All Star Game this year because he really deserves it.

      Hakeen Olajuwon is very much underrated. He carried two teams to back-to-back championships. He was beating teams like the Phoenix Suns, Spurs (even dominating David Robinson after he (The Admiral) was named MVP), Jazz, Supersonics, and a number of other great teams. His best teammate was Vernon Maxwell, and it's not even close. It's the most impressive playoff run with a bunch of role players I've seen since what LeBron did in 2018. Hakeem is overlooked often, and many people will put tons of centers above him. Outside of Kareem, Hakeem is one of the few post scorers who were truly unguardable. Not to mention, he was doing all of this undersized.
