Sora’s biggest problem is he doesn’t think things clearly. He’s gone back to level 1 several times because he stumbled into an enemy’s trap lol. Even in Re:Mind he gave up his own power to save Kairi. It’s respectful yeah but his recklessness holds him back a bit.

Think about it, defeated the heartless cabal in KH1 including Maleficent, defeated an ansem possessed Riku, and then Ansem himself twice! Then while losing his memories, defeats 3 members of the organization, then after being asleep for one year, and meanwhile having damaged memory and power because of Xion's siphoning, goes on to defeat the rest of Organization XIII, an ARMY of heartless on his own (he'd of faced a much larger army if every one else wasn't going all out of course), and Xemnas in multiple forms, AND ROXAS. Then, he defeats Xemnas again, even though it was a trap. He's just too powerful, not to be underestimated. And he keeps himself together while abusing the fuck out of the power of waking. Rescues Ventus, defeats the new organization XIII, defeats Terranort, Riku Replica, Ansem, Xigbar, Marluxia, Luxord, Xemnas, Young Xehanort, and even Master Xehanort. All within a few hours. Dude's a beast, I'm convinced the only thing holding him back is his simple (and thats not an insult, he just doesn't want for much, he wants his friends to be alright and then go home and catch the surf) nature, and it's why I'm damned convinced The Master of Masters has got to be some form of Sora who said "fuck it I got ambition n shit, I'm gonna play good versus evil and pull off the xehanort thing so much better, in fact, I'm gonna create the conditions for everything I went through in the FIRST PLACE". To what end? I do not know, but I'm convinced of it

Am I the only one that, colors aside, this Aqua's style in clothes and hair cut kind of reminds him of Xehanort while training with Eraqus in their youht? That being asked, I truly love this comic with that teacher-student relationship between those two. To be honest, I kinda hoped for something like this to happen at some point of the Kingdom Hearts series. Now I just wish that more talented people would keep doing things like this.

Sora's talents aren't obvious espeically when compared to natural talents like Riku and Sora himself has always thought Riku and others were better than him. To him, he's just lucky enough to help out and it reminds of Arthur in the Sword in the Stone and even Taran in the Black Cauldron. Sora is extremely capable and considering he's had to learn by the seat of his pants he's got the skillset of Master, just not the discipline.
I do to agree with this certain comic he sells himself short sometimes when he shouldn't I go with aqua even though some are bequeathed to will the keyblade to a certain point in their life store was bequeathed by Destiny 2 will the Keyblade so Aqua has a point his kindness and determination have gotten in Pharr and that's why he's one of the people in line to will the Keyblade not buy from one person to another but from the hearts of many who saw him as Aqua does and Kyrie those two truly see him for who he really is they don't come down on him or see any shortcomings because there's no shortcomings to see nobody's perfect but nobody's come compared to quite like Sora cuz he sees ways and things that no one has quite seen as a keyblade wielder or us a person in a long time and that's a very long time so to others out there who see him another way see him in this way are you truly just my understand
I'm going to point out, two hand sword stances tend to actually work better the single handed stances. As you can get more power in to the swing. And have more strength to block.

Just a reminder that whether Xehanort liked wanted to or not, stripping Sora of his power at every game was the smartest decision he ever did. Remember; Sora beat the old POS with minimal help, had Sora never been stripped of his power: he would have soloed everyone by the end of KH2
You know I get that people like to tear apart sora's fighting style but his style is specifically for defense. I get that little in part was supposed to be a joke but I just want to stay a fact here that Sora is a defensive fighter despite his overwhelming offensive capabilities.
And considering how almost all of your attacks could parry enemy attacks in the first game, this isn't exactly easy to disprove (if it could be at all).

In all seriousness though, outside of Kairi, Donald, and Goofy, Aqua is the only other person in the series who actually cares about Sora's wellbeing and doesn't ever kick him down. And you know what's really sad? Sora WAS supposed to get the Keyblade, but Terra screwed everything up and gave it to Riku just because Riku was "just like him". Because of that, Aqua COULDN'T give the Keyblade to Sora because she didn't want Sora and Riku to come into conflict with each other. Unfortunately, they still came into conflict, although this was mainly because of Riku's own darkness and Xehanort's manipulations.

Aqua in the dark realm is difficult to say since time is weird there, not to mention how she ended up in there. Not counting of course physical talent and of course the difference in strength of heart which is important to a any keybearer.

Then what about Riku, he has no training either and he's on par with Sora now. Roxas was never trained either and there was no keyblade wielder to teach him. Same with Xion. The only people who suffer of what you're saying (only good due to training) are the wayfinder trio since they were the last generation of wielders to have been properly trained.

His stance is proper since the get go,(and more functional than Ventus's) if you notice all fights in destiny islands are above the average person.
What he lacked he learned during his journeys and that made him quite strong.
Saying he just gained his abilities is a lie.
