You build the nicest stock framed and tanked Vstar's I've seen. Your vids get me motivated to complete my single tube back bone and sportster tank Vstar build.
The bike looks awesome in person! Went on a ride with the owner yesterday. Great attention to detail. I am glad is a local shop here in town (Houston, TX). The video and pictures don't make justice. The other bikes in the website look also awesome. Keep doing a great job guys.
When you lowered the front of the bike, did you just move the down tubes up in the triple tree? Looks like that is what you did. I am looking at all my options for lowering the front end of my bike and looks like that is what most people are doing instead of changing out the springs.
Is that a honda vlx tank or is it a custom ? Love this bike cool as it gets . Only thing wrong with v star bobbers are that the tanks are to big this tank is perfect for this bike.
Dude, awesome as always. Really like attention to details. Follow-up question. I've noticed that on all vstars you "take care of" you just deinstall the oem air filter can and I'm guessing you install filters directly on the intakes of the carb. What kinda filters do you use for that? any tips?
The tank looks a bit like an axed stock Harley tank. Is it a modified stocker? If so, you did a knock-out job on it! The Coker "Goodyear Eagle" tires look boss, man. You sweated the details to create a righteous Star. Great paint! Ride safe!
Im also in houston area.. wantin to buy new set of whitewall tires but all of them r tubeless..can I still mount those on my spoke wheels n put tube in it?
Haha !! Stunning bike and fantastic transformation !!! Can it be done though ?? A wider rear tire...lets say 250 ???? Would need rear swing arm to be widened and offset on the rear wheel ....
Widest in that swing arm is 200 I believe but definitely would have to widen the swingarm. Possibly have to make a transaxle if the offset is too much.
did u change fork with sport v star fork?.beacuse thats a classik v star and when u customized it ıts not look the same but ım wondring that ı might be wrong beacuse of black color.
Jc Ha also this set was actually chinese tires from kikker5150. Super hard to find. But this was years ago. They probably have some similar these days. Good luck
I have a vstar classic and I'd like to put some clip ons onto it. I'm a motorcycle noob, any ideas on how to get started? It seems directly underneath the triple tree the fork size changes in a conical shape. I'm not sure how to fit for clip ons, do I need to replace the forks? I think they're 41mm.. Thanks for your time.
Mário Martins it is a eternal rise 15x5.00 tire I believe. Chinese tire and supper hard to find. Only company I know of that may sell you one is Kikker5150 unfortunately.
Hi, I got the same bike, ur bike is incredible. Can u tell me what is the gaz tank u put on it ? i dont like the original dragstar Gaz tank and im looking for another one. I think this one is perfect. can u tell me what is the model ? Thanks
Please oh please see this and respond to it, was wondering if you switched out the tank or not, still looks bulbous like the stock tank, and if you did switch it out how'd you get around the double backbone? I worry that my stock tank will interfere with my clip-ons whilst turning
Hello, what kind of tires did you put in the back? I want to put the Firestones tires on dragstar to have a less thick curve but a friend told me that it is impossible to put fine tires on this type of rim ... thx guys and good ride
Mr Barbak these were eternal rise chinese tires. Super hard to find and would never get them again. The rear style like that is hard to find due to it being a 15". Firestone has a dirt track tire that looks pretty cool and I've used it on two others.
What size rear tire are you using? Is it a tubeless tire on a sealed rim or stock? I've been trying to find vintage tires for a v star for a while but can never find one to fit the rear.
Tail End Customs love the tank so much! First tank I've seen that's different from stock that fits the double bone. Mind helping me out with how you modified it?
so i just got an 06 star 650 classic and I'm looking to do some custom work on it... i really like theses pipes, what are they and if you don't mind me asking how much did you get them for thanks
Do you guys replace the engines or leave them stock? I'm just curious because I'm looking into a bobber project and I want to do one of these or a Honda 650/750. Also, what's the average cost of one of your projects? BP estimate?
No reason to replace a good motor. Usually find them with less than 10k miles. Also usually runs $6500 and up. I'm currently not taking on any client builds at this time. Thanks
NP, maybe once I get a bike I'll come see you guys. Where are you located? Oh, any idea how you could fabricate horns onto some handlebars without making them cumbersome?
I bought it from him for 5k if I remember properly. The bike got tons of looks but was a real bitch to ride for more than a few miles bc of the ridged frame.

This is why i love the dragstar 650 and 1100's there's so many ways to customise em. I have the same bike but its done completely different 🤘

I love the gas view window. I really want to add this to my bike. You guys do awesome work, thank you for sharing
You're welcome. It's great to see some true custom fabrication regarding metric v-twins. It takes time and skill, I know. Ride safe.
Love that front tire tread, looks old school.
Great attention to detail sir. Very original.
Thanks man I appreciate it. Glad to hear people are loving it.
That is an absolute beauty. Very nice work guys.
Ty found some at an auto parts store but took forever . For some reason where I live no one knew about clear fuel lines lol.
Really cool 😁👍👍
King Hoffbeers thanks!
awesome looking V Star bobber
Thank you
Sick start button.
Man, insane job, you really put talent in it! Luv it

Thank you. It is a honda rebel tank customized
Real nice bobber. I like that you guys got rid of that god awful chrome on the side and valve covers.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Good Job!
dat sound, eargasm
Great job on this bike!!
Very original.
I am glad you did not use red rims. It has been overdone.
Thank you very much. Yeah I was gettin burnt out on the red aswell.
beats the hell outa most the billet barges and occ crap ! chop on!
Thank you
That sound so healthy.
Thanks
It's just fuel line but I got it from Pandemonium Choppers
I'm 16 from Britain and would dream to own one of these bikes, but sadly I'm not old enough
Haha thanks. Well let me know would love to see it.
I freakin LOVE this! Props guys!!
Thanks!

They were a last minute detail so they are vinyl. I would rather have had it painted but it works.
For that gas tank to fit what did you have to do because I love it that’s what I need to complete my build
It’s a rebel gas tank if I remember right. You’ll have to custom cut the bottom to fit right.
Thank you so much

that thing looks bad ass
I need a seat and rear fender like that
Yes pretty much
Im also in houston area.. wantin to buy new set of whitewall tires but all of them r tubeless..can I still mount those on my spoke wheels n put tube in it?
The Clip on Handlebars, where do you get those from? How do you install the controls on the triple tree?
AMAZING work !!! This would look a million times better with a wider rear wheel/tire !!
Thanks good thing I was only going for thousands better... ;)
Haha !! Stunning bike and fantastic transformation !!! Can it be done though ?? A wider rear tire...lets say 250 ???? Would need rear swing arm to be widened and offset on the rear wheel ....

It would take a lot to widen the rear tire on a v star 650, the are shaft driven and a bitch to widen
I love it!!!
Amazing
Where would u get the clear pipe for gas tank
Bad ass. What size is the front tire?
Outstanding V Star man!
Did you use the stock rims, to fit the oldschool tires?
How much would such a modified rebel tank cost?
Are the green stripes on the wheels decal or painted?
Thanks I appreciate it
did u change fork with sport v star fork?.beacuse thats a classik v star and when u customized it ıts not look the same but ım wondring that ı might be wrong beacuse of black color.
Hello, what is the size of the tires? Thank you
I believe it was 5.00x16 front and 5.00x15 rear.
Jc Ha also this set was actually chinese tires from kikker5150. Super hard to find. But this was years ago. They probably have some similar these days. Good luck
Nice bro....
Are these 650 motors a single pin crank?
Yamaha 👍
Thanks man
Hey - great bike! I'm new to motorcycling and I wanted to know if that clear tube on the gas tank was a fuel sight gauge? Thanks man. Great work.
Thanks yes it is a fuek sight gauge

Who the fuck cares about a zombie apocalypse when you could kill em with this beast💯
What exhaust is that?
Awesome Bobber!
which is better vlx600 or vstar 650?
What gas tank is that? Was it from honda shadow?
What material are the tube covers made from?
where can I get those drag bars?
AMAZING bobber! Great work!
Is there a kit available to relocate the ignition switch into the triple tree? It looks great and free's up the bars!
Thank you. No sorry there is no kit for that.
Is it a difficult mod?
No not really, just get switches that fit in the riser holes. You will have to relocate the handlebars though. I believe they were 14mm switches
Great, thanks !
Nice bike. can you tell me what tire you use on rear wheel?
Mário Martins it is a eternal rise 15x5.00 tire I believe. Chinese tire and supper hard to find. Only company I know of that may sell you one is Kikker5150 unfortunately.
How long did this project take awesome job
Couple of months. Thanks
What seize front spoke and tire did you use?
16" stock vstar classic rim. Tire is 130/90-16 I believe
Hi, I got the same bike, ur bike is incredible. Can u tell me what is the gaz tank u put on it ? i dont like the original dragstar Gaz tank and im looking for another one. I think this one is perfect. can u tell me what is the model ?

I believe it was a 5.00 x 15. By eternal rise. You can't find them in the US. Good luck and yeah not much to choose from.
Tail End Customs cool, thanks for the info and respones. Bike looks awesome, well done gents!
Thanks I appreciate it

I want to know where you got the front forks, if they are stock or custom?
Stock forks. Just made fork covers
Hey mate, what tank and tires did you use here?
ogiarev23 tank is a highly modified honda rebel tank and tires are chinese eternal rise tires that are impossible to find.
Tail End Customs love the tank so much! First tank I've seen that's different from stock that fits the double bone. Mind helping me out with how you modified it?
ogiarev23 just cut out the bottom and redid the tunnel to fit the backbone.
What is that front tire it looks bigger than the normal one? Did you have to make modifications to fit it? Looks fuckin great!
so i just got an 06 star 650 classic and I'm looking to do some custom work on it... i really like theses pipes, what are they and if you don't mind me asking how much did you get them for
thanks
They are custom I made off the bike. Thanks
ok cool thanks for getting back to me didn't expect an answer that quick
+TheJHamel1997 no problem. Check out wryepipeworks. He makes several pipes to the public

how much is this bike?
I bought it from him for 5k if I remember properly. The bike got tons of looks but was a real bitch to ride for more than a few miles bc of the ridged frame.
Well it is for sale
No its stock. Just painted forks.

Tail End Customs sick! I really like the setup. Very clean

Modified Honda Rebel gas tank
Steel
130/90-16
Nice bike, though I wouldn't call it a monster.
Just seems like a really uncomfortable position.
It's not to bad. Wasn't really built for cross country anyway. Thanks
$6,000
Beasty asssss bobber
