It's weird that Bowser, who is mainly known for fire breathing, doesn't have a single fire attack in this game, they should have added one in this remake.
@@dimitri4888nah, by the time you unlock him, Mario should already have his fire powers, there isn't many times you could need some extra firepower on your team, and he specializes in Fear, Poison, and crushing attacks, while also being the summoner of the team, he's very fine without fire in this game tbh
I noticed that too, and always loved that about the original game. I'm sad the card symbols weren't included in this game, but this remake is still amazing regardless!
I played the SNES version of this game and I loved it, and the Switch version is beautiful, and it was cool the addition of Triple Attacks, I wish I could play the Remake someday
I love how even with this newer generation of animation they made it work perfectly. Even if there’s stuff that’s been added that wasn’t in the original. Like boss rematches, new weapons and gear, and the new Mario rendition of Trio Techs from Chrono Trigger they even fixed the names of the attacks and spells that before had names which made no sense.
@@elguachominguachoman2823 tbf this is more unique, we already have enough supers that are just damage, and makes total sense for both healers of the team to have an omni heal for theirs
The crit is only works in Exor, like in the original SNES version. The other bosses are immune to it, and otherwise Geno Whirl is a pretty mediocre attack...
The one with Mario and Bowser is kinda underwhelming bc she js throws a star but with geno and Mario is cool bc she does all the work and creates a shield bc she's a support character and with mallow she heals so idk
@@Gomk141 Gameplay-wise, Mario/Geno/Peach triple move is probably one of the most underwhelming Triple Moves in the game since the barrier is a one-time use only. In general, party configurations featuring Mallow or Bowser tend to get the best Triple Moves of the bunch, with Mario/Mallow/Boswer giving quite possibly the best bang for your buck.
She speciizes in healing and disabling, with offense left on the sidelines, so makes perfect sense her supers to be on the more defensive side, its the same how Mallow's and Geno's are mostly offense, while Bowser's just go full aggression
The only link between them is that they are RPG games , but that's it. +1 the action command also came from SMRPG for later games. I hope there will be a PROPER SMRPG sequel with more characters ( I have a few in mind: Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Master Higgins from Adventure Island , Donkey Kong, And two new characters, a goth loli style dark wizard, and a Transformers style spacefighter).

cuz he's playable now=extreme nerf...
Half of Mario’s supers were fire based, and you can’t swap out Mario. It would have been redundant.
I guess they're trying to get creative with his moves and trying new stuff. I can appreciate that.

How do you time Geno's Action Command perfectly? I just can't do that AoE attack with him. Mario/Mallow are very easy.

The "Ultra Fireball" move was originally called "Flame Storm" in the original version, correct me if I'm wrong.
The NA version was Ultra Fireball. Not sure about the PAL version though.

You're probably going to be mad at me for this, but I personally think that Super Mario RPG is better than Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
