- Super Mario RPG on the Nintendo Switch has the same Weapons & Attacks that was on the original Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars for the Super Nintendo. This is a comparison to show how much they have changed! Some attacks did get a new name!

Awesome video!
The game feels lackluster without the victory✌️peace handsigns.
You should also include the new weapons from after game
@@animeimir That's what I was thinking! He's missing all of the new weapons!
Wait, if Mario isn't in a condition to be thrown, Bowser throws a DOLL instead? That's hilarious! XD
That was actually the "intended" weapon. If you look at the animation in the original game, he puts the doll where Mario stood and throws Mario instead lmao
And the damage output is the same both times, so Bowser never needed to throw Mario in the first place!
@@knightofarkronia9968 hes defo working out some aggression there lol
Yeah I found that out myself today on accident i lold
Geno: 😨
I've always loved how Bowser throws Mario to the enemies that's the best😂
5:48 the super slap in the original game has always been funny to me because of how it sounds
When you realize the drill claw dislodges bowsers shoulder
Bowser maybe hates Mario's gut as his arch nemesis, but at least he knows his priorities when the pesky plumber is in condition that he threw a Mario doll instead.
Bowser is a Giga Chad! 😎😎😎😎
Peach's frying pan is iconic. I got in so much trouble as a kid trying to swing a pan around like Peach does
Seems like TF2 mercenaries learned a good thing from princess
Damn, I was hoping they updated the hammers with their actual appearance
or clothes you know
@@oxob3333 Just like the ones that was shown in the instruction manuals.
I was hoping new weapons so you can have your favorite attack animation with the upgraded stats
4:37 Hurley Gloves
Peach sans weapon and Slap Glove have different animations. No weapon is the animation repeated twice, for four hits; Slap Glove is the one with the *oomph* at the end, for three hits.
Nice knowledge of the game to include the other version of the Hurly Gloves.
Bought the remake, have already started playing it. One issue that remakes can have is that they can sometimes end up being a bit sluggish due to all the extra frills and such that didn't exist in the earlier version. I'm so, SO happy that this game doesn't have that issue - everything feels just as snappy, or sometimes even snappier than before! The attacks are very much case in point, they feel nice and quick to pull off despite the additional animation.
Also...Hurly Gloves. It's not even a contest, the entertainment value is through the roof!
Facts: In the remaster of Super Mario RPG.
Most enemies and bosses are supposed have cutscenes and knockout poses.
But the staff told it took too long to finished and blown budgets.
Remake, get it right!
Love how bowser just throws mario
It’s even funnier that bowser doesn’t bother throwing Mario’s dead corpse instead opting for a doll of mario that he apparently carries in his shell everywhere he goes
@@sourbluytwhy does bowser even have that
@@redbit5010 my guess is because bowser “plays” with it fantasizing victories over his enemy… or he bought the peach doll, it came with the mario doll, he ment to throw it away and just forgot
@@sourbluyt that or voodoo

Don't mess with the frying pan!!! 🍳 🍳 🍳
Gotta be honest, kinda sad that the frying pan weapon didn't have metallic sound effects. Lessens the impact.
6:07 Hurly Gloves, Mega Glove, Punch Glove, and Ultra Hammer
I love how Geno's gun still shoots bullets but the shell casings are no longer shown anymore in the remake.
These new animations look real nice! I feel like the old star rod animation was a little bit better though. It felt more "mystical " I guess.
If by star rod you mean star gun then yeah I agree with you. The new one kinda sounds more like a toy then a magic star gun.
@Dante... Yeah, star gun. I think I was thinking of paper mario when I typed that.
The Hurly gloves are a lot of fun.
They did Peach's frying pan dirty with that new sound effect. Not as satisfying as the old *whang* sound
I love how Bowser just goes around the world carrying a Mario plushy. Betcha he practices his speeches with it
You know, it's been so many years since I've used the Super Hammer that I forgot what its animation was. I always got the superior Masher from Booster Tower.
5:57 - 6:05 YOOO SMASHY BROS!
Fact: There are 3 weapons you get in the remake after defeating post game rematches and for those who aren't familiar, in order to fight postgame rematches, you have to beat the game first, then you must start a new save file and beat Bowser after this is done, go back to the save file that has a star on it, go to the Marrymore hotel, spend a night in it and then return to the different locations where you beat the boss fights that have a rematch. When you defeat Belome a third time, Mallow can get a weapon called a Sage Stick which is a golden froggie stick. After defeating Booster once more, Geno can be equipped with an item that Booster forgot to attach to his Engine 023 called "Stella 023." And finally, after defeating Punchinello and giving him the chain chomp Booster imprisoned in his tower, Bowser can now fight with a golden chain chomp called a "Wonder Chomp." So I hope these help you out a little bit through the progression of the remake, but the thing I know about this is because these weapons are only seen in the remake and not the original, but this was only because the original version never had postgame rematches.
@MasterOfHyrule, thanks for making these vids thus far! I wonder...could you go through the trouble of comparing all enemy spells / special attacks, as much has changed between the original and remake. Prime example would be the spell “Static-E” and even Corona (didn’t see this spell used in the remake).
Punch glove still my favorite of the brawler moves.
I’m upset they made Mario’s hammer sound weaker in the remake, like I love that “BONK” sound in the original. Plus, they didn’t put the cool “PEW” sound for Geno’s weapons either.
The fact that you get to see the enemies actually die in the remake is actually kinda disturbing. Except for goomba. He just kinda ragdolls lmao
I thought you would include the post-game weapons, but nonetheless good video!
There's more weapons?
Edit: Didn't get that far yet... but at least I called it a comparison so... title is still somewhat correct.
I never knew about the lucky hammer in both versions! Interesting!
Please don't use smooth pixel filtering on retro games.
I didn't even know it was on.
I love it. But I miss the distortion effect of the Sonic Cymbals
Lazy shell is my all time favorite weapon for Mario
can you make a video showing the EXACT moment when to hit the attack button to get a perfect critical?
Look for the yellow excitement mark.
Original drill claw is better.
No Extra Weapons for the Remake ? I guess this isn't *all* the weapons =P
4:40 HURLY GLOVES!
It’s official: Bowser’s left arm’s prosthetic. Why else would he be able to spin them 5 times in the same direction?
If you shake your hand and arm left and right.
@@georgeshaw4017 But “Drill Claw” indicates that it was spinning in the same direction. Drills don’t usually oscillate.
@@fridaynightfunkinfan5627 I see what you mean now. I thought you meant Bowser swinging the Chain Chomp!
i wonder if there is a mod for the pan's sound effects to sound like the Valve Pan, aka the TF2 Frying Pan/ L4D2 Pan
Honestly, Peach using a war fan makes me think of Kitana.
Uhhh you forgot the wonder chomp
That's first appearance in Remake
You forget the post game weapons
You should of listed them as MAIN STORY weapons and attacks, instead of ALL WEAPEONS AND ATTACKS, since you forgot to include their post game weapons in the remake
Honestly wish that even if mario was down he would still just hurl marios body at the enemy, feels like bowser thing to do
TURN OFF SMOOTHING DANG IT
Geno is just walking around pulling his best mazinger impression. Or mighty atom.
RW:idk which one i like cause I like all of them 😁
Oh my god i forgot bowser throwing mario was a thing
Lo que si sabemos, es que bowser respeta a los muertos.
Ya que no tira a mario si no esta en batalla 😅😅
We need a triple move on super Mario RPG original and remake Master!
Triple moves were never in the original game.
So nostalgic
Bro you missed like half of those timed hits
Every move was a time hit.
Awesome video!
Is it weird that I didn't expect him to reveal his voice in this video?
Did you not watch my past 100+ videos? 😂
@Master0fHyrule I guess I didn't watch them. Everyone else has been uploading like crazy so it's a possibility. 🤣
him
@shyguy85 Correct my good sir.
I never saw the _Bowser throwing Mario at Enemies_ one before.
and it reminded me of Pizza Tower's Final Boss Phase 3, where Peppino throws Gustavo at the other Bosses in the Small Boss Rush to reach the Real Main Villain.
