    I made your chicken corn chowder yesterday. yummy. I always have to laugh though when I see what the recipe says about the amount of time it will take to prepare. I don't know if I am just incredibly slow or what, but I need to double the time. Of course that includes cleaning time as well. But anyhow thanks for the recipes. Have a great week.

      Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the soup! I know the prep time numbers can be confusing, my husband always asks me about them so I'll try to explain it the best I can. The standard for recipe writing is that if your ingredients call for, let's say 1 c chopped onion, then you don't count that chopping time in the overall prep time. If you don't put 1 c chopped onion and instead just say 1 onion, then you put an extra step in the recipe that says chop the onion and then you would add that into the prep time. So you aren't slow it's just the standard for the way things are written. I hope this helps! :)

    Very nice recipie Sam! I like profiterole very much! In my country Cyprus we eat them with pastry cream! I never think we can make them with ice cream! And i love ice cream! Have a nice day and week! Have a good month! 👍👏🍴

    These are actually called cream puffs but the middle is filled with pudding and sour cream. I make them all the time. Easy to make look up a easy cream puff. I would never make with ice cream.

      What you are describing sounds like a cream puff, I have a recipe for them. ☺️When filled with ice cream they are profiteroles (and when filled with nothing and made with cheese they’re gougeres, and when made oblong and topped with choc and filled with pastry cream eclairs, etc). I thought I talked about this in the video but I must not have.

    I do the same but make eclairs instead with Häagen-Dazs ice cream with homemade fudge sauce, topped with whip cream, shaved almonds and a cherry. 😊

      Honestly it would be a bit more effort to reheat it without ruining it than it would be to just make it as needed. It will firm up in the refrigerator. :)
