I have this cousin who is around my age and once when I was visiting her and her family her mom was like curious as to what the difference in weight was since I looked a bit taller but barely. I was already insecure about how much I weighed and gave my parents a look but they told me to do it so I got in the scale and had to tell everyone I much weigh. I weighed more than her and I was taller. I felt so embarrassed.

I remember going on trips like this to China with my family when I was your age and it's very relatable! I hope in the future you get to explore China more on your own terms. I'm much older than you (in my 20s) but I wish I put more effort into speaking Chinese with my parents when I was your age! I both appreciate and know a lot more about my culture now and I hope you get to experience that too :)
