It's sad to see what the Fake Item Box has become after Mario Kart 64. It has turned from decent item to a downright garbage one. No wonder it hasn't been seen as of Mario Kart 7.
Mario Kart DS FIB was very decent because it looked extremely similar. Hopefully they bring it back to make to look like the DS or N64 one, or at least do something else like a Fake Coin.
