My favorite would have to be the Mega Mushroom. It's just so satisfying to squish other opponents and also gain a bunch a speed while being able to take off road shortcuts for a short another of time.

Tip for using the Lucky 7/Crazy 8: Make sure the first item you use is the Star. I once used the Bob-Omb first, threw it in front of me, hit it and lost all 6 of my other items in Mario Kart 7!
My favorite game is Mario Kart Double Dash !! because it's the first Mario Kart I've seen and it's the only game where you can play two on the same kart! 😍😍. I'm french so sorry this my english is not perfect 😜
@Queen Shook actually a new special item could be the Super Crown..it would turn every other player in a sexy version of Peach like Bowsette for Bowser (but depending from the characters they are playing)...and in this way they would be forced to slow down because of fapping XD

Best mario kart game for me.
