man i just wonder what happen to days like this..the holidays...i love the commercials its like you were tuned in...maybe it was the voice of the commercial
Yeah, I saw "Back t the Future II" in the theatre, and was amazed at all thr future stuff. Part 3 came out very soon after, if I remember correctly. Thanks for the great commercials, and hope the Thanksgiving Day meal was good.
You knew something good was gonna be on after the "Special Presentation" bumper came on...Yeah! We loved that Round Table Pizza commercial then, and it's just as good now. Happy Thanksgiving, 80's Commercial Vault!
I've got some of these commercials from a tape my parents recorded of Garfield's Thanksgiving and Bugs Bunny's Thanksgiving Diet (both the first break only except for the Prancer spot).
I've never seen "Prancer", but I do distinctly remember my neighbor mentioning that she was going to see it. The singer on the Nestle commercial sounds like Bob "Butterfly Kisses" Carlisle. I'm surprised they haven't brought back "Circus of the Stars". I remember the Care Bears movie showed up a lot on the Disney Channel.
I miss this decade these Christmas commercials where all about family. the kids today don't understand this they are all on there cell phones texting tweeting and whatever other stuff kids do today. growing up no cell phones we had imagination and family and the 80's really made the holidays about family and it felt like the holidays.
first and foremost on the BTTF2 hoverboards thing, I hear there's a version of one that's in the works... granted it requires a special metal surface (being powered by magnets and all, but the timing couldn't be better!) great upload, though!
I saw that and I feel like it's a cheat if you have to be on a metal surface. I really doubt that a hover technology as depicted in BTTF2 will ever exist, at least as far as our current understanding of physics goes.
I remember seeing Prancer in the theater with my mom and my sister, it's still one of my mom's favorite christmas movies

So many fond memories. Thanks for bringing them back.
I will always love that CBS movie bumper
Man these commercials make me feel so old but recall good memories thanks for that!
Had those BTTF 2 sunglasses! Good times!

I believe that BttF part II came out in 1989 & part III came out in 1990.
The music for the promo at 3:38 was also the game show Blockbusters '87 theme with Bill Rafferty.
1:08...love the toll house commercial
Is that Alex Trebek in the Circus of the Stars promo? Hah.
I remember that Life cereal ad surprisingly well, as I was 5 back then.

That's the theme to the 1987 revival of "Blockbusters" at 3:45

Not to mention flying cars and self-drying clothes.
2:30 Yes, All PSA announcements should be delivered in low-cut top, to better keep our attention.
I had a pair of those Back to the Future sunglasses when I was a kid. (Pizza Hut should re-issue those next year!)
539...i used to love commercials that had artifical snow like iy was outside the window
