I do however think I saw the guy who plays Julien in trailer park boys there, or some guy impersonating him cause it was dead on, same beard, he was built exactly like him and wearing Julian’s usually outfit too. Will never know for sure tho cause I only saw him as we were leaving
The hash brown casserole is the MOVE lol. The fried chicken, chicken fried steak, catfish, ANY breakfast item...or you get the side sampler with some baked apples...ooh wee! 🎉😅❤
i just went for the first time about a month ago. got the country fried steak with gravy, eggs and fried apples on the side. along with biscuits and gravy. ofcourse it wasnt super gourmet or anything but i think thats the point. just straight forward, classic southern food. the interior and shop is iconic, classic and charming too. thats why i love it.

Their cornbread muffins are way better than their biscuits and their chicken and dumplings are life ❤ AND their fried okra and their old fashioned bottled rootbeer
Cracker barrel is an experience, a special treat if u happen to be passing one, u enter a giftshop, the staff are nice, u play the stick game at the table while u wait, then ur order above average food with above average portions and pay a decent price, u leave so happy u buy something from the gift shop on the way out
Finally somebody talking about the chicken pot pie hot sauce combo. It's incredible! If you haven't done it, add some hot sauce on top of your chicken pot pies it's amazing.

Their catfish is delicious, their greens are great. Should double cornbread with greens and do better than those pitiful green mini peppers in the jar. I always carry a small bottle of Chulula! So bomb!
as a texan and a fat ass, the best part of cracker barrel in my opinion is the breakfast (and how cheap it is for the quality compared to other breakfast franchises) get the pancakes, and you gotta get gravy with the biscuits, that’s what makes the biscuits fire. (if you eat inside their complementary)
I like their pancakes the best. Their biscuits suck though so I always tell them bitty to include it so that it doesn't go to waste. I also loved their steak campfire meal, which you could also choose chicken. Sadly, it was discontinued permanently in 2019. Their sweet potato pancakes was also very good before being discontinued.
Cracker Barrel is #1 IMO. I worked there a short while back during one of my college semesters. Amazing menu, only place I still stop by their store to get their Harry Potter Butterbeer & Bazooka gum flavored sodas, and their CRAAAZZZYYY good candy bars(the strawberry one is my favorite). Best menu items are their buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese, country fried steak and loaded sweet potato. Also, still have to attempt my secret menu item, which is substituting their buffalo sauce in their buffalo chicken mac n cheese for their smoky n sweet glaze(they got rid of their smoky sweet chicken menu item, but supposedly still have their sauce) If anyone has tried this before me, please feel free to leave a review about if for future reference 🙏

We usually go on e a month as there is one a couple miles away. I get chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes with white gravy and dumplings with biscuits. Yes, I am a creature of habit. I love their sweet tea. Although, I have been getting water to cut down on the calories a little bit. When my food comes out hot I give it an 8.5 to 9 out of 10. Unfortunately my food doesn't always come out hot
You have to be very selective though about your sodium impact The chicken pot pie though is excellent FYI: dining room we have the option to take out meals for five dollars each opportunity@ special to take out like dinner options 4 each . options we chose @ meatloaf is good and the chicken was good (mac & cheese. I went to the C.B. in Lebanon Tn, and the food had absolutely no flavor!. The cat fish filet had absolutely no meat , it was all breading and both pieces were like that. The corn bread and biscuits was stone cold. 2 of the bathroom doors had broken locks and no tissue in the stalls, and the mirrors were filthy. My overall visit was bad enough as my whole meal tasted like nursing home food. Get ready for the deal breaker.....I was at the cashier standing behind a cashier and a roach was crawling on her shoe. No wonder they are spending 70 million dollars to rebrand their stores and remodeling. The store/restaurant has had a disgusting decline from when I worked there. Lebanon is the home of this company, so sad.
What really makes Cracker Barrel so great is the price, and if you work there they give you like a 35% discount so all that food would prolly cost you like 10$

Cracker Barrel is LEGIT, I've been let down by many chain restaurants but Cracker Barrel is not one of them.
The only mistake you made is putting Cracker Barrel into a take out container. Nothing better than freshly delivered food to your table.

I love that you always give a good honest opinion and review on the different foods some people be trash on certain reviews on foods but i can't be mad at them cause that's their opinion I wish we had the restaurants that y'all have were here but we don't wishful thinking 😢😢 well also really good restaurants like Carrabba's and five guys and raising Cane's and shake shack and smash burgers and Zaxby's and might be other restaurants that i didn't name it's probably more i couldn't think of at the moment
